Oh fun.  Wonder who lost the kg/pp, Nets trade

"Oh, but we FLEECED the Nets!"

Right. Brooklyn gave up all of those picks and is STILL closer to a title than Boston is.

Boston won that trade big time.

Free agency has nothing to do with that trade. Nets are lucky they’re in NY and Kyrie recruited his better buddy Durant.

Sean Marks is also a darn good GM

I can see us losing to BKN in the ECF in 5 and it will be the same old excuses.. we were not really contenders lol

Tatum and Brown are going to have to improve their passing and playmaking, particularly when defenses tighten. That's our #1 limiting factor right now

That’s where we’re missing Hayward.

I mean, sure, but let's not also forget that we're missing an All-Star starter point guard, too. Kemba coming back healthy should solve a lot of our playmaking problems, especially with Brown's improved playmaking.

I really think this is a pipe dream. Whenever he does come back (not anytime soon), he's gonna need the Kawhi treatment for the rest of his career. I don't think we can count on Kemba for anything, and have to view any contribution he makes as a bonus.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

The Teague disappearance tonight is kind of baffling. 0 points and only 5 shots? Clearly not the Teague we know from his career and what we've had so far.
Why is this surprising? He’s a min contract player

I'm not too displeased with this, Celtics are losing to the better team. We have a lot to be optimistic about, missed some easy shots, a few regressive sets, slow transition D in the 3rd but more than anything, we need to use the TPE on acquiring a quality tall; Nets destroyed us with size in the second half.

Good grief. Irving just pouring it on us at this point.

Disgusting seeing those two prima-donnas looking good together.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I'm not watching the game, but I looked at the boxscore it screams Tatum is being soft.

Am I wrong?

Bucks and Nets have another gear in the 4th. Celts may have been lucky to squeeze it out the other day

Celts don't have that extra gear.

Ainge's inability to address the bench is becoming ridiculous. Teams like MIA, BKN, etc. have good benches and it's a reason those teams are lethal.

Pritchard defense needs lots of work

He needs work but I thought he was solid. Pritchard needs to keep his feet in bounds. He lost 5 points with feet out of bounds plays.

I wouldn’t give up the Js because I don’t think it’s a smart long term move and the Nets are better than Harden/Tatum but if you can get Harden without the Js you have to do it.
