The East is going to be extremely interesting. The C's could be the #1 seed, or the #6 seed. And frankly you can say the same about the other Eastern Conference teams too. I don't see any consensus top team or even Top-3 teams really. In no particular order, MIL/TOR/BOS/PHI/BKN/MIA probably the contenders, and possibly Indiana too. Then you have a mix of "interesting" but non-contending teams like ATL/WAS.

Injuries are probably going to play a big Rolex or a team or two. Short rest all year long.

Celtics FG 42.3% 3PT 6 of 17
Nets FG  42.1% 3PT 6 for 17

Close enough for ya?

Celtics bench 47 minutes 17 pts
Nets bench 42 minutes 16 pts

Brown and Tatum looking aok...both playing in close at both ends.

I’m glad Tommy is not there to watch this. That would have done it for him

first half review:
- Horrible officiating.  just horrid.  it's a Tim Donaghy special.  2 bogus calls on Theis and Thompson for setting clean picks.  touch fouls called on Boston but Nets getting away with a lot -- that last play of the half being a perfect example of a foul call that should have gone on the Nets for Tatum
- I really hate national broadcasts.  Give me Mike and Scal anyway.  this team is so pro Brooklyn it's nauseating.
- Not a great offensive game for C's so far but they've got the lead.  I'll take it

With how this game is being called, KD should have been whistled on that JB basket. It’s good to see the Celts holding their own against this Nets team that just blew them out in the preseason.

This is really happening.

Ok, KD trying to put it away.  Cs need to increase the intensity

Durant seems all the way back from his injury... Brad should call timeout.

Welp mark down KD as a player that has successfully beaten the Achilles injury

We're starting to go too much iso with Tatum. We need to get back to moving the ball.
