I thought it was obvious the moment Klay got hurt.

Klay's trade value would be right near zero with his injury history and contract. He needs to get a season of play under his belt before he could even think of a trade
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Draymond Green, Anyone? Theis, Grant Williams, Edwards, a first, and the trade exception?

You could probably get Hayward for him.  ;)

They are not a contender this season (after losing Klay to injury) but they can be a contender again next season or the year after.

They still have Steph Curry. We'll have to wait and see how Draymond ages and how Klay returns from that major injury. Then they have good trade pieces in Wiggins, good big man prospect in Wiseman and several solid young players on their bench. That is a lot to work with.

This team can definitely get back to being a title contender over the next 1-3 years.

I was thinking about this, too. He’d be an ideal 4 for us and provide us with significant versatility and playmaking off of Tatum and Brown. He’d also bring some more added toughness to our group.

I’d definitely pull the trigger on something around those pieces for him.

He'd be awesome here. A frontcourt of him and TT would be mean

They were no longer contenders as soon as Durant left.  Even with a healthy Klay this year, they weren’t going anywhere

Hard to say.  Steph / Thompson / Dray were pretty dominant even before Durant.  All three healthy plus Wiggins and a developing Wiseman would be pretty solid.

Not only are they not contenders, their roster stinks.

I didn't realize just how bad the roster is until I spent some time watching the game tonight.

Wiseman is a project.

Oubre is a decent starter at best.

Wiggins is straight trash.

Paschall just doesn't look like a modern NBA player to me.  Straight out of 2002.

Who else is on the roster?  Looney looks washed up already, somehow.  Baze looks chubby.  Wanamaker is fine.  I don't even really remember who is on the rest of the roster.  Marquese Chriss?

How much does Draymond have left?

It's a team that would win 20-25 games in a normal season if Steph weren't playing.

There's a variety of reasons why it won't happen, but I wish they would trade Steph.  I want to see Steph on a good team again.  The Warriors won't be good anytime soon.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Seems like their time is up. Curry should be traded while he still has value. I can see us an Miami the biggest bidders.
Clay may not be the same ever but try to trade him after next season. Green / Wiggins are trash - albatross contracts
They have to focus on wiseman and whoever they draft next year.

It is over and I am thrilled. Let Curry do his dancing on a losing team. How much mouth does Green have when they struggle to make the playoffs. Now I have a reason to watch their games.
