Stevens problem is too much perimeter and not enough paint.

I also find the lack of any definition of roles for the players disturbing.

The team is basically Tatum, Brown and three days of rain.

He is a very un-Celtic coach of a very un-Celtic team.

I don't know this guy but if true, the Move On From Brad folks may well be getting their wish?

Very hard to believe Brad would leave for college, especially mid-season.

But if that report is true, that suggests things are wayyyyyyy worse than feared.

Do you see the players listening to Brad? Do you see him coaching them?

If he wants out - now is the time. Team has stopped playing for him and he knows it. So does Ainge. There would be even more pressure on Ainge if his coach bolts mid-season.

Man how would we *see* either of those things?

When have we ever *seen* those things, even when the team is playing well?

About time, please I hope he leaves and we find a new coach for this team.

Maybe Danny has a trade ready to be consumed for Rondo and that is the final straw for Brad. I think his reluctance to coach headcases like him is the only criticism I have on Brad.

To all wishing to replace him - be careful what you wish for .

Guys no matter how much you dislike Brad Stevens, if he leaves mid-season that would be a symptom suggesting a very, very serious underlying problem.  Forget who the replacement would be.  We'd best hope that things are not so dysfunctional that an otherwise secure coach would jump ship mid-season from a .500 team.

The throughline from the IT trade to the Kyrie mess to GH leaving to now Brad leaving mid-season?  That would send a message --- quite credibly and believably --- that the Celtics are a toxic organization.

I agree about the seriousness of the situation. I think it starts with ownership and ends with Danny. They do too much PR control which is always a sign of things

Who is this guy?  Just looked him up quickly and it seems he's a football analyst based out of LA.  Is he that connected to the Indiana basketball world?

I can’t see how he would be.  From Pittsburgh originally, he’s been a comedian/writer/sports host out in Hollywood for decades.  He got his start with some prank shows like Crank Yankees, so this feels like someone with decades of experience in making things up to get attention.
