Apparently, his preferred trade destinations are the Nets, the Sixers, the Heat and the Bucks. Obviously, the Rockets may trade him to a different team, like the Spurs did with Kawhi or the Cavs with Kyrie.

Imo, the Nets package is a bunch of role players + LeVert who's nothing special either. Not to mention, he's injury prone.

If I were the Rockets, I'd try to trade him to the Sixers for Simmons + whatever else I could get. I believe Simmons is the best asset they can realistically hope to get for Harden.

The Bucks traded away practically all their picks in the Jrue Holiday deal. They can offer Middleton + DDV + Wilson (filler) + pick swaps.  If the Rockets want vets over picks, the Bucks might have a chance. For instance, the Spurs wanted vets when they traded Kawhi. Don't think it will happen, just saying.

The Lakers got nothing to offer. No way they trade for Harden. I included them in the poll only because they are the Lakers.

If you are the Jazz, do you trade Mitchell for Harden? Gobert and Harden would be a very strong duo. I believe they complement each other perfectly.

When the Jazz want to trade Mitchell it's almost impossible to match salaries due to the max extension. Outgoing value is his rookie salary and incoming value average of current salary and salary next season.

The Raptors or Pelicans are interesting destinations. Don't understand why the Rockets are so keen on to get him out of the West, you basically cut the market in half. Then you have a bunch of teams that either don't have the assets or the supporting cast to be interested in Harden and it comes down to just a handful of teams who are bidding.

Forgot that Mitchell signed an extension. Based on the ESPN trade machine, he cannot be traded at all till June 29, 2021.

Middleton is definetly an underrated option from a team building perspective.

If Wall and Boogie are legitimately back and Christian Wood is the real deal then a shot creating wing is their most glaring need.

I never really gave Milwaukie much of a chance but maybe that's the answer. Rockets remain a 45-52 win team and begin a new culture of guys that want to be there under Silas.

If the Bucks can acquire Harden, what more of an overture would Giannis need to sign that supermax? Holiday-Harden is a top 3 back court and Giannis is free to run all over the league while remaining loyal to the city that drafted him.

There's a chance it all falls apart within 2 years but at that point the Bucks could just trade Giannis and rebuild from the mountain of assets in that return.

Problem is Bucks have no more draft capital, they traded it to Pelicans to get Holiday.  Middleton without picks is not that great an offer IMO.

The Sixers seem like an easy answer but they'd have to trade Simmons. 

I feel like the Heat make a lot of sense.  He'd probably be happy in Miami, they have a hard working alpha dog already on the roster, and with Harden they'd have an iron clad top three stars that would make them the favorites in the East.  They also have a great coach who is well established.

Not as good a package as Simmons, but it doesn't seem like Philly wants to do that.  I'd rather have Miami's trade package than whatever the Nets would put out there.

The Bucks have the most motivation to make a trade for Harden. There whole team is on the line.
