Good on him for getting that bag after no-showing in the playoffs, I guess. 

I suppose if you're the Clippers you're very aware of how quickly you can go back to being a completely irrelevant B-squad in LA.

Could be a precursor to extending Kawhi on the Max.  Or it could be a precursor to trading for Harden.  PG13 on a 4 year Max is a much more valuable asset now.  He's much more valuable than DeRozan who got Toronto Kawhi.

pg13 is a bit overrated but the Clippers went all in on him. They traded all their draft picks

What course did they have? Might as well keep gambling on him

PF Morris (or Ibaka if you want to go big)
C Zubac

with Williams, Ibaka (or Morris, not sure who starts), Jackson, Batum and others on the bench.

That seems like a contending team to me.  I think Paul George will be fine.  He scored 21 points on 16 shots with 41% 3 shooting.  I know he was bad in the playoffs but he is still a good player.  Is he any more overpaid than Kemba Walker, who was even worse in the playoffs?  It is just what you have to do these days. 

I wonder if they get anything out of Batum?  He was once a pretty good player.  All they need from him is to come off the bench and play decent for, what, 15 minutes?
