Gordon Hayward just signed a 4 year contract. He's made one all star game in his career. How many all star games do you think Hayward will make in the next 4 years?

There are quite a few good forwards in the East. I don't know if they're planning to select all star players this coming season. Will he be good enough to get noticed if Charlotte is bad? Will Charlotte be bad?

I hope he makes 4 (more).

I predict 2 (more).

By year 3, LaMelo will be an All Star.

Who is going in in front of in the east?

He will be competing as a frontcourt player. meaning his most likely competetion is:

Giannis, Embiid, Tatum, Jimmy, Adebayo, Sabonis, Siakam, Bogdanovic, Middleton

He isnt getting voted in, so its a coaches choice. I can see him not getting selected, unless Brad is coaching this year.
'21 Historical Draft
PG: Kyle Lowry / Mookie Blaylock / Mark Jackson
SG: Reggie Miller / Jeff Hornacek / Nick Anderson
SF: George Gervin / George McGinnis / Kyle Korver
PF: Connie Hawkins / Serge Ibaka / Josh Smith
C: Clint Capela / Bill Laimbeer / Jusuf Nurkic

All eastern conference coaches will vote on reserves. Brad won't be personally making the selections.

There's a lot of forward talent in the East. Giannis, Durant, Tatum, Siakam, Butler, Sabonis, Middleton and a returning Blake Griffin.

If he can put up 20/8/5 on 50/38/80 shooting splits I think he'd be close to All-Star level. Could get close to edging out Siakam and Sabonis if he can stay healthy

My question is, who will get there first between Hayward and Jaylen Brown?

Zero.  Empty stats on a crap team don’t do much for the selectors.

Yeah, was just about to say that. You'd have to bank on both Hayward returning back to his Utah form (which might happen, since he was pretty close last year) AND the Hornets not being trash, which is a hard sell.

Ball would have to be a Doncic-like rookie for them to do much. Or Hayward turns into some 25 point machine. Both seem far-fetched to me, but I voted for one.

Zero, of course. At this point, I think Rozier might be a more productive (not necessarily as impactful) player than Hayward. He thinks he is going there to be the lead guy, but they now have three guards who will all be looking to get theirs.

Normally this upcoming season would be his best chance, but with no injury replacements (since there is no actual A-S) game, he would legit have to be one of the top 12. If Jaylen didn't make it last year, no way Hayward makes it this year.

idk I think that Rozier might be on the way out of Charlotte. He's clearly the odd one out, considering they just drafted Ball, and Graham just had a breakout season.

Yeah, especially with how much TR loves coming off the bench.  ;D
