Wow Woj Bomb Hayward to Charlotte!!

Yup.

Hayward goes for the money. Al Horford style

I knew he was being too greedy ... cant blame Danny (or Pacers)

Greedy?  How many times have you turned down $120 million?

He is greedy and it is not his fault either. But lets ponder

He doesnt care about winning.  Doesnt want to play for the Pacers for 25 million per season

Signing 120m with the lowly Hornets... who likely are no playoff threat = greedy for $$$

He chose financial security for himself and his family.  Almost anyone offered the same proposition takes it.

You're just bitter and projecting.  Nothing more.

Financial security?

The guys is already filthy rich...

I dont think financial security is the right terminology here.  This applies to Van Vleet who got paid good money for the 1st time in his career

He's also 30.  Probably his last chance to really cash in.   Professional athletes have much smaller windows that regular Joes to maximize earnings potential.  I don't blame him one big.

Don’t see how this team will be any better next season. Free agent market dried up. Nothing for Hayward. Ainge asleep at the switch

so any more reports on if this a S&T or not?  Sounds like there is confusion about that.

If it ever gets leaked that Ainge passed on turner and McDermott by playing hardball and that is the reason Hayward signed with Charlotte I absolutely feel he should be fired.

I have a feeling Hayward choose Charlotte because he was sick of waiting on Ainge and the Pacers to figure it out.

Sickening we get nothing out of this

Yeah, I'll never fault a player for taking the best deal for himself but he's already made a hundred million dollars and his next contract was going to pay him, at a minimum, probably $80 mil. He's pretty secure.

Could still happen. Remember Kemba signing came 1st... a week after it included Rozier s&t

The Ainge fanboys will certainly disagree. And of course Ainge is not responsible for any of it. None of his moves (or lack there of) are poor.

Big question now is how Charlotte clears out $10m in salary going out to take in Hayward. S&T for Terry Rozier’s $18m or Cody Zeller’s $14m the easiest path. Could combine Malik Monk and Miles Bridges with a Martin bro as well. That would be a nice haul.

Boston can’t wait any longer to address the roster.

I'm not seeing any new reporting other than that Charlotte, as is, does not have room to offer the contract Hayward is reportedly signing so there are other shoes left to drop here.
