GH still unsure

This is a slow FA

Well, it’s been 19 minutes since teams can talk to free agents.  Since the NBA is cracking down on tampering, teams will slow play it, at least officially.
After the farce that was last year's free agency period, or at least the beginning, I'm okay with this
Agreed.

NBA had to show they were going to be tough this year.

But it will slide back to massive tampering in a year or three. I think the solution is just to allow free agents to start talking to teams as soon as they have played their last game of the season. Tampering, as strictly defined by the rules, won't stop. Best to just let the people who are talking to teams talk to them. But ONLY after that player's season is over.

  • GOT IT!!!
Makes too much sense to not get a deal done between these two teams. Been too much hate on Turner for his contract. It always felt like fair value to me.

Agreed. Nothing you can really do to police it, so might as well let them do it. Not really a downside, is there?

Turner and Warren or Oladipo just sounds greedy, but I’d be thrilled if Ainge pulls that off.  At this point, I’ll be happy with just Turner and even happier if McDermott is included.  That sounds more than fair.

Hayward really seems to have quite a hard time on decisions like this. Shades of the Utah/Boston dilemma a few years back. I would be thrilled if he stays or if we get Myles Turner+others.

Good. Play hardball with Indy for what Danny really wants, otherwise call Hayward’s bluff to sign with Atlanta/New York over us.

Always thought Indy was the destination. Don't want Turner or McDermott and would rather have GH re-sign.

Either/or for me.  I just don’t want to lose him for nothing.

Would love Hayward to resign here.

Wondering if Brown, Tatum, Smart or Kemba are getting involved in trying to convince Gordon to stay.

Guve me an asset back and more importantly, cap flexibility.

Really which player can/will come with Turner is more amount of how much Indy wants to pay for GH and how many other players bos/indy wants to include in the deal.  VO would be tough to get without #30m+ and other players like theis, RW3, semi, etc.  Have to match like 39m within 25%.  Any of the other three talked about would be nearly as hard.

Victor works if you package Gordon with Kemba.  Just sayin'...

Why not get Sabonjs back? Do Indy value him highly?
