This would be a fantastic return for someone we could lose for nothing. I’d be extremely happy for this outcome.

Indy wins, Cs win, Hayward goes home. Fingers crossed, id love to see Turner and Mcdermont in this system.

I think ... no other way Hayward joins or Pacers could fit him in

To Pacers: Hayward (s&t)
To Celtics: Turner, McDermott, 2022 1st swap

-Hayward signs for 3 years and player option at 25 milliom per season
- Trade Kanter like Poirier

agreed.  If everyone wins = this trade will work  ... and vice versa

If Danny is greedy,  nobody wins

Yeah, if Hayward is leaving then getting something is better than nothing. I like the Pacers trade and I hope it happens. I would also be happy with a resigned Hayward on restructured money.

Is that why he rushed back from injury to play against Miami, even though his wife was having a child?

Many people say that he reinjured his ankle skipping to the bank to cash those fat Celtics checks.

Knicks are in on just about every player LOL.  I wonder if they are being used to have either the C's or Indy up their offer to get a deal done.  Anyone can call the Atlanta Bluff.  No one really wants to play there.  The Knicks are a big enough market that, even thought they stink can still be used as a bargaining ploy and have it believable.  IMO the options for Gordon are sign the deal the C's have offered or accept the S&T with Indy if they haven't already.  The tampering rule this year is going to be really looked into so these rumors could just be a way of posturing to make it look like a deal has not been done for Gordon for weeks.  If he signed with Atlanta or NYC then have fun with three years of regret and a bit more money in your pocket while your family is far away or hates life more there then in Boston.

Rumor: Wizards want to quickly re-sign Davis Bertans, but Knicks are lurking

Wow, that ESPN article has Hayward rated 13th of all current free agents in terms of projected WARP (wins above replacement player) over the next 3 years.  I wonder if his agent saw this before advising him  ;)

2. VanVleet 22.5
3. Christian Wood 12.7
4. Brandon Ingram 11.6
5. Davis Bertrans 11.5
6. Bogdan Bogdanovic 11.2
7. Malik Beasley 10.9
8. Danilo Gallinari 10.9

10. Hassan Whiteside 10.3
11. De'Anthony Melton 10.1

I don't know about that analysis though.  Seem pretty suspect.  Maybe Danny has compromising photos of the author  ;)

You aren't crazy. Those projections have been based off of the last few seasons of inconsistent usage and injuries. Several teams are still projecting based off of his abilities. I'd say he's second or third on that list.

Melton and Galloway seem odd, the other guys not so much.  After Hayward though there are some really strange people on the list.  I mean Jordan McLaughlin was 14th.  He was a rookie that played in just 30 games and he is being projected as the 14th best free agent over the next 3 years.  This is where formulas and metrics can get you into trouble (and maybe McLaughlin will be that good, but there is no way you could reasonably trust the data for a guy that played just 30 games in his career).
