He can resign with Celtics.  Sign with other team with cap room.  Or sign and trade with team over cap per Keith Smith.

Yuck, I would have at least like to have gotten a trade exception.  This hurts.

34 million left on the table? Hmmmm
Wonder if he has a Horford-like offer elsewhere?

Not necessarily. He has to opt out in order to do a sign and trade and you can't finalize those deals yet. Sure, you can make and announce them, but can't finalize them yet, so that is still very much a possibility.

I still think he did it on purpose.. maybe not to injure him that badly

But Crowder was not going to let him alley hoop dunk on him

I went from being elated believing we had just gotten Turner and McDermott to losing Hayward for nothing.  >:( :'(

At least all those fans concerned about Wyc paying the luxury tax there is one less thing to worry about.
Celtics the absolute financial champs this decade!

It was Kyrie’s bad pass.

Oh come on, can't we just find some common ground here?

It's IT's hip's fault

In some alternate universe, the Celtics are hanging banner 19 after another MVP-level season from IT, further bolstered by Finals MVP Hayward and DPOY candidate Horford.

They keep saying they will pay the tax for a championship squad so what message does that send?
