http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y2oyx8kyTo Pacers: Gordon Hayward, Jrue Holiday
To Pelicans: Oladipo, Poirier, Edwards, 2020 14th pick, 47th pick
To Celtics: Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb, 2020 39th and 42nd picks
Reason for Pacers: Hayward a local boy and with family in the area wants to play for the Pacers. Pacers do plan to sign him to an extension when the opportunity presents itself. Jrue Holiday gets to play with his two brothers.
Reason for Pelicans: The main thing the Pelicans is seeking is a good 1st round pick for Holiday. Oladipo health status is still up in the air but if he could return to form, could be a plus for the Pelicans. In order to facilitate the deal, they also agree to take on Edwards and Poirier salaries.
Reason for Celtics: Myles Turner helps the Celts balance the starting lineup. He is young and on a friendly long term contract. At any point he could also come off the bench and become a strong 6th man type big off the bench. Lamb would be considered a salary throw in, but if he can recover from his injury, he is a valuable player off the bench. Celtics also get two solid 2nd round pick from the Pelicans
Celtics still end up with 26, 30, 39, 42 picks . On a flat draft like this, these ranges are plenty for Danny to find prospects he likes/makes an impact next season
