Baynes
Hayward
Brown
Doncic
Dunn

Ingles, Herro, Theis, Robinson, Tucker, Covington, Connaughton

This team would be functional, switchable and affordable

It has three ‘local guys’ in Dunn, Duncan Robinson and Pat Connaughton.

It has multiple ball handlers and shot creators and other then Doncic the starting line up would be defensively solid as a rock. Dunn’s defensive metrics are actually better than Smarts and if he was drafted by the Celtics and allowed to grow like Smart has, IMO he would be better.

I know this is my fantasy team but it was actually possible with a few different draft decisions and I think it would be a contender for the next 3-4 years.

What’s your opinion on this team?

Where's Tatum?

I believe we would have won the championship this season. If I were the coach, one of Covington/Ingles/Tucker would have been starting over Dunn.

Luka - Brown - Hayward - Covington - Baynes

My 'if only' team would be a bit different.

1. Draft Giannis over Kelly in 2013
2. Never trade for Kyrie
3. Use the 2018 Nets pick + the 2019 Kings pick + the Grizzlies pick to trade up for Luka

PG: Luka
SG: Brown
SF: Hayward
PF: Tatum
C: Giannis

6th man: Smart

A man can dream. ::)

I don't think I'd feel good starting two near non-factors on offense, with Dunn and Baynes.
2023 No Top 75 Fantasy Draft Los Angeles Clippers
PG: Dennis Johnson / Jo Jo White / Stephon Marbury
SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free
SF: Chris Mullin / Ron Artest
PF: Detlef Schrempf / Tom Chambers / Buck Williams
C: Ben Wallace / Andrew Bynum

he mentioned it was his fantasy team.  ;D

while we are at it, let's add antetokounmpo as well.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

This. That’s literally what would have happened with the best GM of all-time running the show. Would have been great. But 4 out of 6 ain’t bad? Just too bad we missed out on Luka because we wasted assets on Kyrie. And really horrid we got Olynyk instead of Giannis (Danny’s fault)
