I have NBA Pass and watched the games the next day--That was a pathetic excuse for a NBA playoff season.
Fake crowds , fake crowd noise.
No electricity of a home playoff games .No edgy players all just bubble buddies having fun.
Never in their own beds or homes .This was not an atmosphere of playoff basketball. It was a cheap imitation.
The bench sitting six feet apart masked.
They should have cancelled the season.
If that clip of Jaylen Brown had happened in Boston in normal playoffs the place would have erupted. Hitting Brown that high up like that should have gotten Butler a possible ejection it was dirty in its disregard for a player that is so vulnerable. The head shot given to Theis by  Andre Iguodala was a just slap on the wrist. In Boston you would have had to restrain Marcus. Players often hated playing in Boston Garden with our crowd.
Maybe you guys liked it I didn't.

It does feel like a blown opportunity but at the same time, this was a "finding themselves" season. Tatum has never had this responsibility before. Kemba has never had a better scorer he had to defer to and had never been out of the first round. This is the first year Theis was a starter. Jaylen is still coming into his own, for sure. Add into that, Hayward was nowhere all playoffs.

If they take this loss and learn from it, then this season can have been the '90 Bulls. If they can't make the Finals next year, then I'll start having some hard feelings.

That Butler play was dirty AF. Good way to seriously injure someone. You do that crap on the playground and you got yourselves a rumble.

The fact that nobody really thought it was that big of a deal...was kind of a big deal.

It was a 3+ point swing. Celtics would've gotten at least a FT and possibly the ball back for a flagrant. Miami went down and scored right away, which doesn't happen if JB's not injured and lying on the ground.

Such a terrible playoffs for the officials. Close to Donaghy-level bad.

But I'm sure David Silver is fine because at least LeBron is in the finals again with one of the glamour NBA franchises. That's a win-win for him.
