Well deserved, tbh. The Clippers have been chronic underachievers ever since he was hired.

Makes sense.  Seems like the team hit a ceiling with Doc and unfortunately the ceiling was short of the conference finals.  Next season is judgment day for that franchise.  Have to take some risks which includes trying a new coach.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I'd say it's coach out due to players collapse.  If they like Doc they can blame themselves.

But it's probably time for a change anyway....

Wow lol.

Who else do they plan on bringing in to get them to the Promised Land?

I just can't shake the feeling that this is all on Doc.

So how much of a role did Paul George cheating on Doc's daughter play in this?

Most overrated coach in the NBA- could only win (and hardly) with veteran superstars.
People forget how bad the Celtics were with doc before we got the big 3

Fully understandable really. Even the Lob City Clippers never did as well as they should have (in my opinion) under Doc. So he won 1 championship here, when he should have won more, had Orlando's record between 41-44 wins every full season he was there, indicating that they basically plateaued from the get-go, and has disappointed with 2 different title contenders in LA.

Wonder if anyone will give him a shot

Choking that 3-1 lead to the Rockets several years ago was enough to be fired imo. I don't know who would want him. His premiere strength has always been being a player coach, and that seemed to fatally failed him with this Clippers team.
