2 defenders walking off jaylens drive he needs to start drive and kicking to move their defense around

And when he tries, Theis butterfingers it out of bounds.

We look out of sync.  Thankfully Miami isn't playing terribly well either, but we need to get rid of these unforced errors.

Good response out of the timeout.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

There we go JT! Good pass! Even if his shot isn't falling that's a good way to work himself into the game.

If they can get more of those transition opportunities where they can run that might get them going, instead of having to go against a set defense

I get Jaylen has 2 fouls. But why are Kemba, Jaylen AND Hayward all on the bench at the same time??
Looks like the usual 2nd quarter lineup to me. At least Tatum is still rebounding and dishing

Feels like we're due for a run. Maybe right before the half?

I'm just gonna turn the game off at the 3rd quarter my brain can't handle the lottery team that is the 3rd quarter Celtics.

I'm not sure what to make of this 3Q woes. Usually, 3Q is when teams make adjustments during the halftime break and players prepare mentally for the 2H. But we should be good in both cases... I'm more positive towards 3Q going forward.
this was posted on SoSH concerning this exact point.

"The Celtics third quarter struggles are fascinating to me. Some of it is real - in the playoffs - and yet the general perception is that this is an ongoing issue for this team. ...

Meanwhile in 72 regular season games for this season, the Celtics were number two in average points scored in the third quarter, second to the Raptors by .1 (29.5 vs 29.6). The Celtics were first in terms of third quarter net margin.

That said, in the playoffs, the Celtics were great during the opening round series with a +5 during the third quarter so their struggles have really only come against two great defensive squads in Toronto (-5.7) and Miami (-2). I am inclined to dismiss this data as a function of specific matchups and small sample size versus an actual problem."

Thanks, it's on point)

A very nice heady assist to Theis from Tatum! Love that, if you are cold find other ways to contribute like that.

We need to go get on track. This lay-off was too long and it shows for some of our players.

Miami looks awful.

Keep hitting them inside.

Wanamaker + Robert = 4/6 and 8 points...an offensive force

Keep defending hard, hang in there till halftime, and regroup and come out strong the second half
