Why is this team playing like they are up 2-1?

They look so young and scared at times bunch of missed free throws. Makes you think they just aren’t ready for the moment. Also bad Jayson Tatum showed up thus far. Everything he’s putting up isn’t even close to going in.

I was hoping we'd seen the last of Ojeleye in game 2.  I don't trust him at either end of the floor.

I understand running the clock down at the end of the quarter. Why does that play always result in a long jumper however? Why not drive the ball ever? So much good can happen when you attack the defense.

Agreed.  Our dribble penetration and crisp decision making was why we played so well offensively in game 3.  Doesn't help that Brown is in foul trouble and hasn't been as aggressive.

They are walling off the rim whenever we drive though, whenever Brown or Tatum drive there’s two or three defenders walling it off. If we hit some perimeter shots it will force them to pay more attention to their closeouts and open up the middle

Btw refs are bailing us out we just aren’t hitting free throws. They want that BOS vs LA matchup it seems. If we would just attack.

Pretty sloppy game so far.  Neither team looks particularly good.  Kemba sort of carried us there. 

I feel like RW has been out of position on a lot of defensive possessions so far, but the Heat aren't doing a good job of punishing him for it and he's contributing on the offensive glass for us.  I'd have a short leash on him - if the Heat start finding those missteps, we'll have to try somebody different. 

Let's try to get Tatum a good look or two.  See if we can't get him going.

The thing is though, the drive to the rim collapses the def and will give other players open shots.  Jaylen drove a few times and hit Gordon twice for really good looks.  Gotta hit shots.
