Now the team has 3 full days off until Game 4 (Wednesday).

Might help Hayward a lot too as he gets some additional rest. He gave us great minutes tonight

agreed but i think it helps an older heat team more. they expended a lot of energy to win the first two games and they looked tired tonight. defense wasn’t as energetic and a lot of threes hit front iron.

Butler’s only 31. That’s about as prime as it gets. The only relevant “old” guy for the Heat is Dragic and he’s looked great out there. Robinson, Herro, Adebayo, Jones, Crowder, KO (aka the rotation) are 30 or younger

I'll take the win but all the same problems reared their head once again tonight.

It's so obvious we're the more talented team, but unfortunately our coach is just not good enough.  We win in spite of Brad, not because of him.

Gordy looked okay out there, so that is good.  Hopefully he gets back to where he was before the ankle sprain.

Yep, my thoughts exactly.

Brad's game management is awful ................... I am very bothered that a 20+ point lead was down to 5 points with no timeouts called to re-focus the offense, which was obviously out of sorts late in the 4th.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

JT with the near triple double yet again. Next step is to have a killer mentality/go to move when we need a bucket. JB seems ahead of him in that matter. Overall a great win!

Encouraged by the win, at times, the Celtics played irresistible defense, looked dynamic with cuts into the paint and superb ball movement then the fourth quarter isolation basketball, low IQ plays that have defined their attempted closeouts against Miami crept back in.

Miami is an effort team who won't give up, keep doing what works until they show you they can stop it.

i cant help but think that if hayward had not been injured in this series, it would be3 3-0 celts.

they can, and will, win the series. but it is going to be a rock fight and probably go 7 games.

lots of basketball left for us to enjoy!  ;D

What about Brad's game management that got us to the 20 point lead? Any thoughts on that?

Interesting from Twitter, Seth Davis of ESPN and Tom Penders, the ex Texas coach both thought that call on Jaylen was crap. Forget the flagrant, shouldn't have been a foul in the first place because Robinson was looking to get hit.
Shouldn't even be interesting, that's what the call should've been.

Agree 100%

If you can't bring the ball over your head and then down, then you can't really play the game

good to get the win but that 4th quarter erased the good feelings from the first 3 quarters --> very little confidence that the C's have figured out how to close out a team in these playoffs.

hope they build on what they did right tonight to pull off another win on Wednesday

Also they had like a week off before this series, Boston had like 2 days. If it helps anybody it probably helps Boston at this point.

I just realized that the Cs have won every “road” game in the playoffs. Crazy.

Tough call by Gordon, but the right one. We need this.

He BETTER play....it's the Playoffs ECF...Kevin McHale played on a broken foot through the playoffs in 1987
