C's can always make it closer than it was))
Great, great win. Props to Gordy for coming back with an influence)
Jaylen balling big time. Solid from JT and, again, more minutes for Grant, please :)

Now the team has 3 full days off until Game 4 (Wednesday).

Might help Hayward a lot too as he gets some additional rest. He gave us great minutes tonight

agreed but i think it helps an older heat team more. they expended a lot of energy to win the first two games and they looked tired tonight. defense wasn’t as energetic and a lot of threes hit front iron.

Eh...they aren't that old though. The Heat are pretty young overall, they aren't the Raptors.

Don't overlook the big news tonight, that Hayward is not leaving the bubble again for his kid's birth.

Huge..No Hayward and we might have done epic choke

Agreed. Even when he wasn’t scoring/assisting, the fact that he kept moving the ball, and attacked at the right pace, and wasn’t committing stupid fouls was huge for us.

Semi’s out there with bad passes, draining the shot clock, and bad fouls.

Heat players (Crowder, etc) keep pushing Jaylen in the back on his Dunks too...Crowder is dirty.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Not only was that a great win, but also learning that Hayward is staying with the team made tonight even sweeter.

Yes, that is really encouraging.  Just get better with each game -- the bench has so much more going for it with GH.
yeah, the celtics bench in this series is not great. CBS plays nice matchups and they try hard, but they need someone like hayward who can pass, score, rebound, and play smart basketball.

on to the next victory!!!!  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Hey, we’re up by 3 points for the entire series. See? We’re ahead.

Not a perfect game, but several times the heat put a run on them and the Cs punched back. Key point in the game was refs blowing the call on Tatum leading to a Herro 3 and a tech. Six-point swing. They could have melted down and they did not. A few minutes later they put on a run and closed the half strong. That’s the resiliency they need.

Good game people.

And so much sweeter sticking it to Riley and those Heat punks.

We've known Crowder is dirty since his time as a Celtic. He's dirty and he's a flopper.

It wasn't always pretty, there were heart stopping moments, there were mistakes in execution, especially near the end when Miami really applied pressure. But it's a playoff game, it's supposed to be hard. This time we faced up to adversity and came out on top. There were lapses, like there have been in each game, but tonight we probably had the fewest lapses of the 3 games. Maybe people thought we were going to thrash them by 30 but hey they're a good team, they don't have any quit in them and tonight we took a leaf out of their book from a grittiness point of view. Game 4 we will need to have even less lapses. We crushed them in the paint 60-36 and "only" had 9 3s out of 26 attempts.

I've always felt that Gordon doesn't need to score for us to be a better team, because he makes everyone better. Right now he was probably only 60-70% but he made us look crisper and more fluid. He's decisive in everything he does and that's what we need.

JB was super aggressive early and didn't let up the whole game. JT played within the flow of the game, didn't hog the ball, didn't dribble the air out of it other than maybe 3 or 4 times in the whole game, and Kemba was solid. Marcus had a typical Smartacus game, solid on defense, sometimes exasperating on offense but you take the good with the bad and he iced some key free throws at the end. GWill and Enes gave us some good minutes. Theis was the only one who I thought didn't have a great game, but he was able to contribute.

It's going to have to be another team effort on Wednesday, at least it will be a positive vibe around here heading into Game 4

I just hope he wasn't pressured into this.  He should make whatever decision he thinks is right, not what anyone else wants him to do.

But it's a welcome development as a fan.

Incredible. He said it's due to him having some time with family while recovering. But putting team interests first here... you can't respect a guy more.

Interesting from Twitter, Seth Davis of ESPN and Tom Penders, the ex Texas coach both thought that call on Jaylen was crap. Forget the flagrant, shouldn't have been a foul in the first place because Robinson was looking to get hit.
