I'm leaning towards yes along with trading Tatum.

I'm assuming this is sarcasm right? People can have their opinion about Stevens. I think he's one of the better coaches in the league. Whether people like his "energy level" or not. But trade Tatum?? Like I said, I'm assuming that is a tongue in cheek comment.

Not in love with Brad’s rotations either.
But we need to see where this thing goes.
Just a few thoughts , Gordon might have been the ideal guy in the middle of this zone.
Remember when Brad was an inbound play genius?
Also reports say they C’s locker room after this game was full of screaming..
I wonder if that’s good or bad?

Who would we replace him with?

The following candidates are available:

Mike D'Antoni
Billy Donovan
Ty Lue
Brett Brown
Stan Van Gundy

Would Mike D'Antoni enjoy this team's offense? Hahaha.

Wouldn't mind Billy Donovan either

Trade a 22 year old All-Star who just made his first All-NBA team in his 3rd year??

No better alternatives on the market right now, we'd better hold tight and hope he makes the right adjustments.

I don't buy that excuse. He has a bench. He doesn't play the right guys on it. His starters are superior on a talent level.

He had those dead eyes in that PC.

I think he knows the series is over.

Donovan's a better coach than Brad.

Brad needs a better bench and better assistants..... he also needs energy players. He has rubbed off on his team and his team is soft. Soft teams do not win championships. It is not so much the loss but the fact that they are getting beat up and outhustled.

Better fire him now.
I'm still looking to win the title if we can consistently play with a global offence.
Not with him as coach and Tatum.
No issues with Tatum as long as he's not defending speedy/crafty guards out there or pounding the ball every time we attack.

This thread may come back to bite me, but honestly, I have not witnessed a coach who seemed so overwhelmed by the moment vs the Heat.  His coaching decisions in the 2nd half of this game 2 v the Heat was abysmal.  Ok, Kanter had his sweet mini run in the first half. But the moment Bam starting going off, you don't keep him in the game. Where was Robert Williams? Grant was almost as bad. Bam destroyed us at the center position. The few minutes Rob played in game 1 vs Bam he actually held his own quite well. Brad is a stubborn arrogant coach.  The media and most fans proclaim him as the young genius.  Immune from basic criticism.  Well the gloves have come off.

This team is so much more talented than the Heat even with Hayward sitting out.  To be down 2-0 vs this team is a disgrace.

If we lose to the Heat, I really hope Danny reconsiders whether Brad is capable of getting this team any further than the ECF.

Okay, lay it on me. Tell me it's the players not the coach. Sure, they could have done better, especially taking care of the ball. But the primary reason we lost was because Brad did a poor job of match ups.

Wyc just gave him an extension.  So doubt his job will be in jeopardy

Didn't Nate McMillan get an extension too recently? Got fired like a month later I think

If he continues to be useless then yes.

Danny's roster construction is also rearing its head. I get that having Gordon would lengthen out the lineup, but man, we have no juice off the bench. Would love to see an instant offense guy come in like a Reddick or Lou Williams type but no idea who is available and who we could afford. Herro was taken one spot ahead of us. I remember hearing that there were screams coming from the Celtics draft room. He looks like he is going to be a good one.

Even his "useless" games are 20 pt outings.

Bruh, thank you for giving me the comedic relief I needed after that game.
