Brutal loss. But I still think we win this series
I mean, I love the optimism...but I dunno.

I question their ability to close. Three times in the last six games where they've absolutely thrown away a game.

Stunning block by adebayo...and thats why you dont go to the rim for those who wanted that at the end of regulation.

Heat the better team pretty clear after they somehow won this

You take it to the rim every time with the last possession and a tie game (unless you're Steph Curry or Dame Lilliard). Just look at what Butler did the play before. Tatum probably should've laid it off the glass instead of going for the loud finish, but it was just a heck of a defensive play by Bam.

Ugh, terrible ending.

But once again thanks Brad for poor end of game management down the stretch! Just not the coach to take use to the promised land. When you consistently make the same mistakes down the stretch of big games, that says a lot. Dang end of game incompetent Brad.  >:(

I don't know what else you want him to do in that game.

Miami is a legit team, and we hung in there until the overtime. It took them an extraordinary effort from Jimmy Butler and an even more extraordinary defensive play from Bam Adebayo to seal it. We were there, they just made some extremely hard plays in the end. Sometimes it comes to that.

But I really don't get this, putting this on Brad.

Just because we are saying attack instead of being passive and throwing up a desperate 3 doesn't mean try to dunk on their uber-athletic center.   You can still attack without trying to finish over Bam.

LOL @ the poster that wasn't impressed with Bam.

He basically destroyed the Cs in the 4th and OT.

Well Theis was fouled out in OT. But bam is definitely a good player

We basically stopped moving the ball and started playing iso and our offense bogged down. And Miami shot 45% from 3

I mean, I love the optimism...but I dunno.

I question their ability to close. Three times in the last six games where they've absolutely thrown away a game.

We were there. It took Miami two extra ordinary plays to seal it. It will be crazy to think they can pull off those kind of feats for three more games.

I'm starting to feel like the opposition has about a 90% chance of making last second game tying/winning shots against us.

We need to play better with a lead late in a game.  We spend too much time killing the clock rather than looking for a good shot.

Qft.

Kemba getting blocked by Crowder.. smh

I only caught the 4th and ot because of work and despite Tatums stat line he was garbage late and his misses and defsense lost this game, multiple plays as bad or worse then the crowder block on kemba

Problem was Tatum went for the dunk instead of hitting Smart for the open corner three. You want to drive then kick to open shooter not iso shoot.

Herro also came up big for the Heat down the stretch.

The Celtics offensive plays in the second half and OT were terrible, and they blew several defensive assignments.

Why is Stevens going with iso plays so often lately? He used to be so good at calling out of time out plays with great movement.

Ur ridiculous...sure we coulda had some better offensive sets at the end but...Miami legit. Give them some credit. They flat out made the plays and win the game. We didn’t lose it, they won it

Oh, I give Miami all the credit in the world. They made big plays down the stretch.

But that's only because we went brain-dead down the stretch offensively and reverted to strict iso possessions. That one possession where we were up three and Kemba just stood at the top dribblign the shot clock away and didn't end up even getting a shot off was ridiculous and poor coaching by Brad to not recognize how bad that possession was going and call the timeout there.

Brad has not really improved one iota in end of game situations since coming into the league, perhaps even getting worse. He lost us several games in the Toronto series by poor end game decision-making, and while tonight was not as obvious as his screw-ups in the Toronto series, he certainly played a major role in our folding down the stretch.

Way too many guys (especially Kemba) seem to just choose when  to show up and when not to during games. How about a 48-minute effort guys??
