Defence saved us in the second quarter. Let's go Celtics!

Tough first half. Feels like players know what they have to do but they are exhausted. Yet, we found a way to be ahead so it's very winnable ! It's just 24 minutes, let's go !

4 point lead at the half, for how they have played, I'll take that....
exactly, can't explain our lead right now, probably Marcus Smart!

Smart has willed us to the lead. He's unbelievable.

That we're leading by 4 at the half after playing maybe 6 minutes of good basketball that half is a win for me.

Now for the love of God, Brad, prepare your guys for the third quarter and don't let the traditional third quarter letdown occur!

Smart demanding the ball after the great D leading to a layup followed by a great dish to JB for 3 from the corner.

He's going to "will" this team to win.

this. clutch players rise to the occasion. make him team captain, danny.

Who is captain?

Good end to the half. Let's hope that Brown and Kemba have come alive after some good shots at the end of the quarter.

JB has a lot to do with that as well. He has a quiet 15pts to lead the team at the half.

Tatum has at least half a foot over VanFleet, yet VanFleet is a much stronger player.

Tatum only needed to drop a spin move to the baseline but apparently can't.

Better second quarter, especially the last couple minutes. You're halfway there, Boston!

A unneeded title despite what he means to this team.  The guys on the floor and in the  locker room know who the "Captain" of this ship is.

FVV getting to the rim over Tatum is maddening. Tatum can't even back the guy down on the otherside smh
Tatum has a weak base that let's him get pushed around by 6'0" guards.

Okay the C's need to find a away to get Kemba some reasonably open threes. He's only 26 this game, 0-3 from three. He's gonna need more than 4 points in the second half to win.

Also Tatum has played great, but he needs to stop with the "I feel contact so I'm throwing it up." He's tried it three times and didn't get the call any time (did accidentally throw one in). The refs are letting them play, so adjust.

I imagine that Raptors fans are chewing into Siakam like we are into Kemba.  The difference certainly is that Kemba is more skilled.

Siakam's game has really been exposed this series after he had a great regular season.  Stick a solid defender on him where he has to work to bully his way to the basket and he doesn't have the finesse or skill to consistently put up large point totals efficiently.  He's a good player but he's no star.
