So the NBA screws the Celtics and then releases a report that says they screwed them. That's so helpful, thanks NBA. Don't do anything about it just keep on with the bad refs and the bad calls. You are just pouring salt in the wound.

The Celts should have won 5 games in this series so far.

Unless the corrupt NBA wants to change the final score and give us the win, none of this matters. The only thing that does matter is game 7.

this is sickening.

I don't think these officials ever played the game themselves - they have no feel for it.
That said, it's not like Earl Strom, Richie Powers or Mendy Rudolph looked like ex-athletes themselves, but they sure appeared to know what they were doing out there with just 2 guys in contrast to the modern, bewildered NBA official.

Yes so I'll go borrow Denzel Washington's little doohickey from his classic movie Deja Vu....

....and perhaps go back in time and weld lock Tony Brothers into his hotel room.

And such a statement from me is USELESS unless these referees are fined for making these kinds of mistakes.

No one is asking for perfection - that is IMPOSSIBLE. But don't make things so lopsided and apparent that you are FAVORING one team over the other.

There were probably a half dozen (at least) unbelievable calls throughout the course of this game, not just the last two minutes of regulation and overtime. Smart’s flagrant on Vanvleet as the latter blatantly kicked his foot out, and Lowry dangerously undercutting Brown come to mind. But seriously, I was just astounded this whole game.

After we win game 7, this is gonna be the most gentlemanly sweep in NBA history.

honestly why do they come out with this report anyways?

doesn't make the fans feel any better.  These dummy refs are still not going to call this type of fouls anyways (OG foul on Kemba)

yesterday game was definitely a "fix" , in order to extend the series. And build more revenue for the league.

They should just start “game 7” by ending game 6 with Kemba at the line and 2 seconds and change to go. If the Raps pull out a miracle again then go on with game 7. Otherwise the rightful winners of the series prevail. 🤬

More to the point, they should have won the series in no more than 5 games. Maybe even a sweep if they didn't choke Game 3.

Best-case scenario is Kemba makes 2 FT with a few ticks left and they can advance. Hardly a sure thing that it’s a wrap, as we have already seen.

The issue is the incompetency. How can you miss that blatant hack given the importance of the situation? I’m not a fan of awarding reckless drives with the sole intent of getting a bailout whistle. But Kemba got to the rim and this wasn’t a touch foul or him creating the contact. He got raked across his shooting arm.

It’s crazy how bad the refs can be, and yet no real repercussions other than “whoopsie.”

Knowing how these games are reffed, if Kemba makes the free throws, they would have called the Tatum foul on OG a shooting foul, OG makes both and we go into OT anyway. LOL.

I tried to forget about game 6, and in doing so, I apparently forgot what resulted on the coaches challenge when Nurse questioned the foul on Norman Powell (?) against Theis. I know the foul was overturned. Did it result in a jump ball, or did the Celtics get the ball back, since it went out of bounds by Toronto?

Jump ball, since it was a loose ball when they blew the whistle

And a jump ball at center court, which makes no sense (it should have been on the same end of the court)
I'm bitter.
