  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
The defense has been phenomenal and I can tell that’s Brads doings! The offense has been good, I’m just hoping for consistency! If there is anything I worry about it’s the consistency of the offense, like I just don’t know how they are going to act from game to game.

One thing is for sure, KEMBA CANNOT STINK! Brown and Tatum having bad games is 1 thing but Kemba just cannot. He can praise Tatum all he wants, KEMBA IS THE BEST PLAYER ON THE COURT and needs to show that. If Kemba gets close to 30, JB hits 22 we will win. But Tatum...... 🙄 I just dunno sometimes he scares me.

Kemba is 1-10 from 3 so far in two games, but he has been aggressive getting to the line and with that mid-range jumper. I don't think a healthy Kemba can stink - he is too smart and is an effective scorer from all over the court. If he starts hitting 3s, then watch out. Let's hope the Jays can keep rolling and that our Defense stays on point.

Oh, and TP to FLC for another great game thread!!

IMO, it's not just the points he produces, it's the points that other people produce when he is on the court because the defense can never take it easy on him, even if he is 1-10. He keeps defenses honest which creates opportunities for others.

I bet on a great match of Kemba tonight !

I watched on Brodes podcast (sport talks with Brodes) its funny and I like how he speaks about the bad choices of his organisation.
I have one question, as I follow our Celtics from far and don't understant well the city fans opinion and Boston atmosphere (dream to come one time at least...or find a post on french high school :) ). But, this guy seems to have a lot of respect for Boston team and organisation. I feel the same for 76ers, they are our east rivals, but don't have at all, any bad feelings about this squad or town. Not at all like the Lakers. I know history makes rivalery... But is there also the same respect I have by celtics fans from Maine ? Or is it my mind view ?

thanks for the great thread FLC. i can see from the top of the thread how you expect the celtics to paddle the sixers.  ;)

celtics win and go up 3-0. at that point embiid will simply quite playing hard. he does things such as that.

wear him out early and crush the snot out of the stinky sixers!!!!

gooooooooooooooooooooooo playoff celtics!!  ;D

oh, and of course a tp for FLC.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

TP FLCeltsFan!

Lets take a commanding 3-0 lead. Honestly I really think if we can start Game 3 strong, PHI will feel defeated and basically fold for good. I mean they already looked a bit defeated near the end of Game 2.

Those Game 2 blowout wins usually leads to a Game 3 letdown. I hope the Celtics hold their composure. Don't be surprised if Tobias Harris has a breakout game
I've found that mostly to be true when the team down 0-2 gets to return to their home court and get rejuvenated by their fans. Wonder if it will hold true when there's no home-court advantage

I might be wrong ,  but the fake fans and seeing the same goals might be well suited for the personnel and personalitiy types on this team including the coach.

A super strong start might see philly fold ,  they seemed shell shocked after last game.

I am going to sound like an idiot but what exactly do the players see and hear when they are playing?  Do they see fans on some sort of screen?  Do they hear the same noise we are hearing?

They see all the fans, but I'm unsure about how loud the crowd noise is pumped through the actual arena. I can't imagine it is too loud, considering we're hearing so much of what is going on on-court. Wonder if the players have talked about it somewhere

LOL Green.... spoken like a long suffering fan of the Washington Football Team. Dude, this one is over. The sixers are cooked they will shoot their wad in the first quarter. Embiid will get tired, and the Cs will run them off the court. They are cooked. Maybe Boston gives them game four so they can go finish it off at the Garden, oh wait....

Man I hope you're right....

Every now and then BOS lays some stinkers....come out flat.

They've appeared dialed in so far and I hope it remains that way.

Ugh, stuck with SVG again.

Also got a chuckle out of Brett Brown citing Bill vs Wilt & Bird vs Doctor J. Two match-ups Philly were on the losing side of
