I want to see Freak come out in game 4 and either take 25 shots at the rim or foul out trying.  Budenholzer needs to help him with that too... every trick you have in your playbook to get him an inch of space, use it.  Giannis has tried to be a good teammate and make the "right play" in this series and it just isn't working.  Supporting cast is letting him down.  Time to do it himself.

You want him to go Kyrie?

I mean, I'm being hyperbolic.  I don't want him to try to win 1-on-5.  But I do want him to come out swinging in game 4, and I do want to see some creativity from Bud in getting him some better opportunities.  You can't lose a series without your best player getting his best shot.

Now let's hope James Harden's team of midgets can upset LeBum and the Fakers

Can we get in the Giannis sweepstakes?

In a trade?

It would cost us somebody we probably don't want to give up for a rental.  I'd imagine that Tatum is off the table, but do you give up Brown for a year of Giannis?  I wouldn't.  With proper roster management, the Brown-Tatum duo could have us looking at meaningful playoff runs for the next decade.  Swinging for the fences on Giannis could destroy that if he dips at the end of next season.

If we could find a way to make it happen while keeping the Jays, then you jump on it... but I seriously doubt that Milwaukee accepts any such package.
I think Brown would have to go and if we could get a wink-wink confirmation from Giannis, it'd be worth it. You're right it'd be catastrophic should he not re-sign.

It's just, top 5-7 players are not available often. Less so when they're 25-26 years old.

Yeah, if he specifically wanted to come here I would have to trade Brown for him

What the heck happened?!

I didn’t see any of it but was checking in on the scores periodically on my phone.  Did they just pack it in when they hit down?
Yup

Miami is balanced
They are not particularly big
They shoot a good number of threes and have one of the best percentages from three.

They are not a hammering defensive team.
They don't play "long" either along with not being big.

Well coached.

I guess it isn't Bucks only playing poorly, Heat in an odd way are like the Celtics.

The one thing the Celtics have a smallish edge on is "defensive tradition."

I'm not being a homer here, this is accurate. The Heat don't "have" Marcus Smart nor do they "have" Kemba Walker. They seem to have a deeper bench, but they don't get that many minutes anyways.

The Celtics have a lot of work to do before we dream about this matchup.

Miami got the job done to go 3-0.

We did not.

If we get past Raps, most will pick Heat over us in 6 games.

Not I.

  • GOT IT!!!
Bucks showed how tough they were last year. I never fell for it this time around. Coach Bud coaches one style that falls off when tight half court basketball begins.

Is Miami going to be the first team in NBA history to blow a 3-0 lead?

Celtics should have won last night. Ugh.
