I've been reading celticsblog and celticsstrong for 10+ years. I can imagine all that lurking may be off-putting to some but a sincere thank you to the many thoughtful posters for hours of insights over the years.

Anyway, been wanting to share this video with Celticsblog/Strong community for years (in fact, I tried when I first uploaded the VHS tape to YouTube). I made it while teaching myself to edit during an internship at a local news channel in summer of 1994. As such, it celebrates the glory of 80's NBA hoops!

I'm inspired to try sharing again today on the eve of the epic Jordan bio that begins tonight. it's a nice appetizer...

Entertaining video.  1980 until the Dream Team / 1993 Finals will forever be my favorite era of basketball.

Yeah, I'm the same. Hard to say how much was our age vs changes to the game (including marketing). Regardless, I'm sure there'll be plenty of stuff from mid-80's-through the 6th championship season in the documentary...at least I hope so!

Thanks for watching the video and for the response, Roy.
