With the 14th pick in the 6th round, the Dallas Mavericks select Cliff Robinson.
2× NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2000, 2002)
A fantastic two-way player, the 6-foot-10 Robinson was one of the best shooting big men the game has ever seen. He was the tallest player to make more than 1,000 three-pointers until he was surpassed by Dirk Nowitzki and [undrafted player], making 1,253 threes in his career. Robinson was also an iron man. He rarely missed games due to injury and still holds the Trail Blazers franchise record for consecutive games played with 461.
The guy would have been an elite 3+D player in today's game. Averaged 18.5 points per game in 1999-2000 on 37% from 3 (while attempting 4.1 threes per game). Got selected in the NBA All-Defensive Second Team as well.
