More participants! Nice! Hope I get my guy in the first round though , there are a couple of very specific players I'd love to build around.

For teams, I think I will take the best 6, 7 or 8 best teams from each conference based on this season, dependent on final number of participants.

Eastern Conference
Milwaukee
Toronto
Boston
Miami
Philly
Indiana
Brooklyn

Western Conference
Lakers
Clippers
Denver
Utah
OKC
Houston
Dallas(if we get another player)

Can we select the name of our team instead of using the names of existing NBA teams? I mean, if I end up running the Fakers, I may as well draft Anthony Bennett and Darko Milicic. :P

It gets confusing when names change. Let's just keep team names.

I agree with this. Maybe if you're really opposed to a team name you can switch with someone or take another team that's lower seeded (for instance Portland Trailblazers, Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks)?

Yeah, can't imagine it really being a problem.

I was thinking of being able to select any team name out of the 30 NBA teams in the 2019-2020 season instead of being forced to choose from a limited pool of NBA teams this season.

Everyone wants to be Boston and no one wants to be the Lakers, Sixers, Knicks and sometimes Heat.

But, once someone wants to change teams then everyone wants to change teams and things get nuts. I then have to figure out who gets to change their names first in another lottery to decide who gets to change their team first and what team they will select.

No.

Let's just go with the way the game is done and everybody embrace the team they get to run.
