The main Celts 5 made the cut. Walker, Brown, Tatum, Smart, Hayward.  But I assume only 2 max will be able to make the final cut

Assuming everyone on that list decides to participate:

LeBron
Beal
Butler
Curry
Davis
George
Harden
Irving
Kawhi
Westbrook
Drummond
Tatum

Assuming Durant and Klay will say no to get into shape for next year or wouldn't be physically ready.

Agree, it would either be Lillard or Kemba over Kyrie.  Both due to quality of play as well as durability.  Kyrie shouldn’t be playing competitive basketball during the off-season.

Yeah, I agree. I think it'd be Lillard, because he's having a career-best year and he rarely ever misses games, but Kemba would be deserving too.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

It will be interesting to see how it will be all decided

I mean there are locks

Lebron
Curry
Harden
Leonard
Davis

Though it wouldn't surprise me if Leonard chooses to skip it ... due to awkwardness to play under Pops?

The other semi locks imo

Draymond Green
Chris Paul
Kyle Lowry
Demar Derozan

The last 6 picks should be interesting

I would choose

Abebayo
Tatum
Lillard
George
Harrell
Brown

I think fitness will play a big role. Guys like Curry, Kawhi, Paul George and Green have missed significant time this year. Then there are guys who are often injured like Chris Paul, AD and Lowry.

If guys finish the season banged up then I can imagine them taking time off. I also don't see either Draymond or Chris Paul as anything close to locks, considering how much better and younger guys like Lillard and Bam are.

Honestly missed Lillard on the above list. I agree with you all. It would be Lillard over Kyrie.

Gotta agree with gouki. Don't see any of Triboy's semi-locks being anywhere close to semi-locks or even making the team.

Maybe Paul is a sentimental pick because he'll never play in another, but don't see that as likely. Westbrook, Curry, Lillard, Kyrie, Kemba and Lowry are all better PGs and should be picks before CP3.

Also I think Kevin love has a good shot of making it just based off his history of doing well at the Olympics. They need bigs that can shoot as usual so I think he might have a decent shot at making it. Especially if people like curry are hurt or resting

Yeah, and even DeRozan is far less deserving than Butler, Beal and Booker. Hell, he's worse than Tatum too. Those "semi-locks" remind me of the 2016 team, more than a prediction of what the 2020 team will be

I mean

You can also say this about the "locks"

Lebron will be exhausted. Curry fresh off injury. AD is not like the healthiest. Leonard always on load management

I just think its the last ride for an olympic gold for many of these guys

Locks and semi lock list I have down are also all winners. They wont allow team USA to lose

Unlike what we witnessed this past summer

Young guys have more energy... but they likely lack the experience and leadership

Like Lebron, Paul, Lowry will scold if necessary

Cant take world teams lightly. Not even 1 percent

I also think that it would be Lillard
It's his time to shine!
Strive for greatness 😜
