I'll say this for Atlanta, they made a good move to get Teague from Minny.  add another top pick this year and a couple of decent vets looking for paychecks and they could make a run at a playoff spot next year
I agree. Trae and Collins is one of the best two-man combos around, Huerter is a handy shooter, Hunter is a nice piece, Reddish might develop into something too. Lots of potential if they train up their young wings right

Brad Stevens in the press conference is not happy with all the turnovers   When asked about how they were able to fight back he said “not sure...throwing the ball all over the gym is not a good recipe to fight back.”

“We pitched like Ricky Vaughn in the movie Major League in the 3rd quarter...we should apologize to the folks sitting around the court for throwing it all over the gym”

A Celtic Win on the road against a feisty opponent

And a Sixers blowout.

If you feel bad because people are complaining despite a good win, go to Liberty Ballers right now and it will put a smile on your face.
right. the sixers are actually bad on the road. if they dont finish in the top four in the east they have a very good chance of being bounced in the first round.

i love it.  ;D

Yeah. I’m wondering if they’re going to try to make a fairly big trade. They can’t like where this year is heading.

doubt anything big at the deadline but I suspect they will have a lively offseason if they finish 5th or worse in the East and get rolled in the first round.

Poached Al for nothing, in that case.

I hope after watching this game people understand why Tre Waters is in the G League(even tearing it up) and why Brad Wanamaker is getting rotational minutes.

Wanamaker tonight: 27 minutes 5-9  from the field, 2-3 from three 4-4 from the line, 16 points, 3 rebounds 5 assists, 4 steals +17, great defense.

loved Al for what he did for us.  not sorry he's not helping the Sixers whatsoever.

If Young and Collins is one of the best two-man combos around, why are they trying to trade Collins?

Young and Len is a pretty good two-man combo, but it's not because of Len.

Hawks aren't trying to trade John Collins. If anything they are turning down offers for him. From Zach Lowe at ESPN:

Quote
As Woj reported, they have telegraphed a desire for another wing -- either directly for Capela, or using assets they get for him.

The Hawks are among the teams who have expressed interest in Capela, per Woj. They have talked to several teams about centers. Some of those teams have inquired about John Collins, sources say, thinking the Hawks might be worried about extension talks with Collins in the offseason.

Even if those teams are right, the Hawks have shown no interest in dealing Collins on any of the general terms bandied about, sources say. It will be interesting to see how Collins' game evolves if Atlanta really commits to a paint-bound center. (They of course have paired Collins with such players a lot over his career, but none considered potential long-term pillars.) He has extended his range and rounded out his game, but still looks most comfortable on offense as Trae Young's rim-rattling pick-and-roll partner.

TP Nick. Waters is an exciting talent but he's got a long way to go. Wanamaker has been a professional for a while.

Anyone give me an update on the Theis injury?

Sprained his ankle coming down and trying to avoid Young's foot. Was initially available to go back in but once he sat down it tightened up and he was ruled out for the game. He's hopefully of playing against Orlando so hopefully it's not too serious.
