Took long enough for them to call that Huerter hold. Scale didn't see this side with Huerter holding him

I think I saw Tremont on the bench. Would love to see him on Trae.

He's missed the rim of four shots tonight. Two air ball threes, two miss everything layups. But I feel like a Tatum-run is coming at some point this game.

Cmon Brown. Just because you're hot on offense doesn't mean you can take defense off.

I’d rather he not pick up his third foul in the first quarter.
Take him off the court if he can't defend wideopen layups without fouling.
Wow, being the team's high scorer while being tremendously efficient, taking on the challenge of defending the much bigger John Collins and limiting him and winning the latest EC Player of the Week gets you no slack for not being your best at defense for one whole play.
He consistently has a couple of dumb defensive plays a game. But good to know Player of the Week=no criticism.

There's a huge gap between "no criticizing" and "take this player out of the game because of 1 defensive play"
It's almost like context exists. Someone said Jaylen gave up a wide open layup because they're afraid of him getting his 3rd foul. I responded by saying that he shouldn't be on the court if he's that worried about picking up another foul.

Tatum's close outs on a few of these threes have been really slow at best to not even trying at worst. He looked completely gassed or lazy on those close outs.

In addition to the shooting Trae Young makes passes that even I watching the game on television dont see. He's just a massive offensive weapon.

I don't know how you help off Huerter weak side. I realize Semi has to sink, but you have to know.

Tatum's been pretty bad tonight. He needs to pick it up on D if he wants to be a positive.

My buddy that lives in Atlanta is totally convinced the Hawks won that Dallas trade.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Context exists on others' posts, too. No one is saying that you can't criticize a player, but suggesting that one of our best offensive players shouldn't be on the court because he's being cautious on D while in foul trouble is absolutely worthy criticizing
I'm bitter.

Kanter 8 pts 5 rebounds in just 4 minutes.

I was just going to type out that exact thing.  TP

Kanter comes in and has just dominated.

Back at ya.  We all missed Kanter.
