The Celtics can really turn it up a notch when they all play hard.

I've actually had dreams, where I make the C's roster--and when I finally get in a game, I can't hit a shot to save my life---but it wasn't as bad as Hayward tonight....pathetic---played like he has the flu or something.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Good win tonight. Especially since we were missing Kemba and Kanter

and Hayward.

Those who really crap on Gordy always conveniently
disappear when he plays well. Imagine if he got treated the way Hayward did

The thing I like most about this year after both Jays proving that they are stars, is that Daniel Theis has proven that what we saw in him in Year 1 was the truth.  Last year post injury he never got it going -- made me (and others I'm sure) wonder if he was going to be a player.  Daniel Theis is a solid nightly NBA contributor.   And I think Grant Williams is too.
not just that, but Semi is coming around too.  looking good the past few games and not just on defense
Though not flashy, the defense of Theis, plus the toughness of the Semi/Grant combo in 'small ball' was really the key to the game.  Brad heaped praise on the Semi/Grant combo.

Personally I'm glad that Brad has gone with a short rotation in recent games.  He's also been quick to call a timeout after the other team goes on a run, such as a 6-0 or 8-0 run.  He did neither of these things last season.  It's a refreshing change.  And our 3 bench players deserve a lot of praise for their recent play.
Hear, hear!!! Since they started playing better 7 games or so ago, Grant Williams, Semi and Wanamaker have been outstanding, for the most part, giving this team exactly what it needs when sone of the starters are resting.

I know he didn't play last night because all of our wings were available (and he hasn't been as important as the above three), but I think Javonte deserves a shout-out, as well. When he has played, he has done a very good job. That game against the Magic he was just electric.

Quick question, where was that big guy that comes off the bench for the Sixers and killed us the last few games? He gets a ton of blocks and dunks?
