CP3 playing so well and making his 10th All-Star appearance this season really further shines a light on how awful the Knicks last off-season was.

Rumor had it that Chris Paul could’ve been had with a first round pick to a team that simply absorbed his salary, the Knicks could’ve absorbed Chris Paul, netted a first round pick, used that pick to package for Kevin Love. They probably would’ve been a playoff team while maintaining Kevin Knox and RJ Barrett for develop. Instead they are a total disaster locked into subpar talent for the next 2 years.

Crazy how incompetent that organization is.

Knicks tonight (January 29):
-Stomped by mediocre Grizz team;
-Fans at MSG LOUDLY chant "sell the team";
-Elfrid Payton starts brawl bc Jae Crowder drank his milkshake;
-Marcus Morris outs himself as an aggressive misogynist;
-Turn off the showers in Mem locker room out of spite

Wow.

They also tagged the wrong RJ Barrett when congratulating him for making the Rising Stars game LOL

You know, I believe NY will get it right soon.

If my Washington Redskins could FINALLY right the ship (like they've done recently) then ANYONE can get right.

That loud pop many of us heard in the North East recently was our organization pulling its noggins out of their behinds and FINALLY hiring a solid coach and they are STILL making good moves....

Really believe brighter days are ahead for us - and New York - one day soon.

i don't think there can be any question at this point that the Knicks will continue to be completely hopeless so long as the ownership situation remains.

the other contender for most depressing franchise is the kings, and i'm not sure there's any hope for them either.  they seemed worthy of hope that last and then this season they've been just completely depressing.

the kings should probably just sell and move to seattle.

It's funny because they were so confident they'd get Zion, even thinking the NBA would rig the lottery to have NYK get #1 over the likes of MEM/NOP, etc.  :laugh:

the knicks have had two winning seasons in the past 18 years. they arent going to field a good team as long as dolan steers that ship.

but he does love him some spheres. ;D

Even worse, since the 2000-01 season (so the first full season in this century), the Cs are the only team to have lost to the Knicks in a playoff series. That is a tough one to swallow.

But, yeah, I would imagine they will figure it out at some point. Look at LAL - they had the #2 pick like 8 years in a row, looked like they were going nowhere, and then all of a sudden Lebron signed there. They still play in NYC and they still play in MSG - it will eventually work out for them.

The Knicks are always trying to build with short cuts. They need a big time change of culture. It starts with the top down and The Knicks top is awful...

Oh they botched the offseason, but I don't see how having Chris Paul and Kevin Love's massive contracts on the books for a 1st round exit type team at best is a better option.  At least they still have a ton of cap flexibility going forward.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

The Knicks will probably win the lottery this year with no clear top pick. ;D

Hopefully they pick the next Anthony Bennett.

Do you know how many times people have thought the redskins have ‘righted’ their ship?

I’ll believe it when I see it

The title should read 'Knicks disastrous 20 year run' the team will never win anything as long as Dolan is the owner, because he can't get out of his own way and he leads a culture of bullying and misogyny.

The only way he will give up the team is in a body bag as it's a cash cow. What the Knicks fan need to do is unite and boycott the team which I'm surprised they haven't yet if they really care about their team. The soccer team Liverpool's fan protested by walking out on mass at the 77th minute to protested the ticket prices...can you imagine a broadcasted game where almost a whole stadium walks out while the game is going on? The owners then stopped the intended price hike.
