good TO.  when Jaylen starts with the Tatum-like shake and bake for a step back 3, time for a TO
Yet Tatum can spam those while ignoring every open teammate? ::)

For once, Sir Charles was right on his pre-game prediction

I don't think it was really that bad a shot, considering our lead. Brown should be given similar liberty to Tatum

Celtics win games one of two ways - either red-hot streaky shooting or they just out-work, out-hustle the other team. So, as we have seen many times, if we are not shooting well, we have no inside game to turn to and we have a good defense, but it requires lots of energy to be effective. no shooting and little effort = Loss. You get one or the other, I'd say 60% chance to win. Of course, those nights when we are playing with high energy and intense effort and shooting it well, we become a top 3 team in the league.

Tonite vs Lakers, we are playing with energy and grit and shooting a decent %, though not off the charts. Lakers out-shooting us, but effort is getting it done so far - Can we maintain this energy ?
Are you watching this game? Boston's inside game has been excellent. Kanter 18/8

Yep, I'm watching. Are you ? typical comment - Kanter has scored off offensive rebounds and in-close slip passes for little layups. That is not a post player making an offensive move and shot over a defender.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Saw this on Twitter. People say we struggle against great teams, which is fair...

But the Lakers after tonight will fall to 0-5 against Boston, Toronto, Milwaukee and the Los Angeles Clippers. That's most of their losses this season lol

I mean when our perimeter offence is humming we really don't need Kanter eating up possessions by posting up and banging under the basket lol, we need his post offence when our offence is sucking.

That's because the guys defending him are all elite shot-blockers in Davis, Howard and McGee.

You can't be watching this game. Celtics are killing the Lakers on the boards, have more offensive rebounds and lead the Lakers in points in the paint. Boston's inside game has been outstanding.

Dwight Howard looks terrible.  Old, slow, just shoving people around trying to make up for his lack of quickness, instead getting 5 fouls in 17 minutes

His definition of an inside game is Duncan-esque post ups that have bigs pounding the ball under the basket every possession.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
