C’s need bench scoring .Boy do we.
Rose really fits that need. I’d rather have him than Drummond
$15 mill is a reasonable contract.
If there ‘s away to match money without losing Smart .Our pick to sweeten the pick for Detroit. Please Danny

Hayward for Drummond and Rose works.

Rose and Wood for Theis and Wannamaker works. Plus, the proposed 3-way trade to get Drummond.

Something like this? The pieces are pretty flexible.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Giving up Ojeleye for Rose will make the Celts smaller against the Bucks.

What if the Celts face the Bucks in the 2nd round and Ojeleye is no longer on the Celts?

Rose will not even play a lot of minutes if the Celts still have the core 5 intact.

It will end up Rose just getting Wanamaker's minutes.

So what would like to see Danny do trade wise to make Celtics better?

Anything that would put Theis back on the bench.

It was really comical seeing Ayton against Theis and GWill.

Celts really need a true Center.

You can swap Ojeleye for someone, the numbers aren’t too much of a squeeze. https://tradenba.com/trades/Tk4WxYyJR

I don’t know how much Semi will help, but I agree with the general concern about size against the Bucks. Don’t think anyone available will help (like Drummond)

Steven Adams can, like Marc Gasol helped contain Giannis in last year's east finals.

It’s a lot easier for a big-man to help contain someone when you have one of the best wing defenders of all time + Siakam, who is no slouch.

Also, Giannis has torched OKC over his last two meetings.

What about https://tradenba.com/trades/yaM3d935Y ?

Or

https://tradenba.com/trades/c0HIoJmsA ?

There are lots of possibilities that aren’t bad trades like Hayward for Drummond

Knicks will not trade Robinson.

I like the WCS trade.

If Ainge will not make a big move like getting Drummond or Adams, the next best thing is WCS, Noel, or Poeltl.

WCS, Noel, and Poeltl will automatically be better than Theis and Kanter because all those I mentioned are all taller than Theis and are all better than Kanter on defense.

Also, Hayward is damaged goods.

He said so himself.

Hayward said he has issues with his foot that got injured in 2017.

So it's not like we're trading an All-Star Hayward here.

The most obvious trade that hasn’t happened yet is D Rose and Morris to LAC for anyone other than Bev, Harrell, zubac, Williams.

Rose/bev/George/kawhi/Zubac with Morris/lou/Harrell off the bench is a perfect fit.

Would love to see D Rose in green but it’s just not the right fit and he needs to start.

I think it’s best to wait until the buyout market for this year.

This type of trade only makes sense if you think Boston is an actual contender this year.  Since I don't, I don't see the point in it.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner
