They showed a lot of heart. Speaking of heart, mine broke for Hayward after seeing how much that miss affected him. Bridges shot rools around and in, Hayward's hangs on the ring for a second and falls out, otherwise, it may have been a tie game there near the end.

FWIW, Hayward has 22/7/7 tonight.

Missing that layup sucked, but he’s busting his ass.

first game i’ve missed all season. i know brown and kemba were out but we should have been able to handle the suns at home. anyone mind giving me some insight on what happened? same slow start, anemic offense, and listless defense?

GWill can't guard bigs like Saric or Ayton wake up CBS this small ball is crap.
He's got to be an above average shooter to make for his lack of size. Right now he's a poor shooter. So this is starting to look like a whiff of a draft pick.

Ainge cannot draft...he has no strategy in drafting.
Huh? Some of his recent picks have been pretty strong

The misses have been awful though. There just does not appear to be a particular strategy.
I just don’t see how he has more misses than any other random GM.

What kind of strategy would you implement?

A more risky strategy especially since we have had an amazing amount of picks. I just dont think he has taken enough risks in his drafting. I am not a personnel expert but why dont we have shooting on the bench?

He's had a solid 2nd half - the missed layup aside - after a pretty lousy 1st half.

I just don't know why Tatum and Hayward have to start like garbage before coming alive. Obviously it's not by choice, but I wish they could just miss shots intermittently rather than start 3-9 and then go 5-6.

Wait, are they trying to say that foul occurred before the inbounds?! There's absolutely no way that was before the inbounds!! Pure incompetence!

What the hell are these refs doing?  Now you wave off the free throw after he's already set up and ready to shoot?  Incompetence.

I'm not so sure this game was a layup for the Celtics. Ayton and Booker are beasts and their depth is a lot better than ours right now.  This game was lost because they got nothing out of the bench offensively.

Apparently the only way this team is ever gonna be really good is if they have all of their players healthy and playing. If even one guy is out, the rest of them don't know how to overcome that.

That game was worth it just to see Marcus set the 3 point shooting record.

But man we don't care about first halfs. Without Marcus being red hot we lose by 20 easy tonight.

I still can’t believe Hayward missed that.

Another ugly loss to a subpar team. Going on three weeks of really bad basketball. Something has to give at some point.

That's what's killing us lately...the starts.
