Hayward can't buy a bucket but his 7 assists have been handy. Kinda frustrating game from him

Letting the guard down and getting lazy.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Hayward seems to get in his own head more than any player on our team

He’s the opposite of Smart or Tatum where if they start missing they shoot even more. Gordon seems to go into his shell shooting wise if he starts missing.

Both frustrate me almost to an identical degree

Hayward 0-4 today from the field  :-X

I’m more worried about the 4 than the 0 to be honest.

Maybe Kanter needs to be starting. He has been the best center coming off the bench in the league and I love him in that role, but......he looks awfully good playing with the starting group.

His defense tonight has been tremendous. His defense as a whole has been fairly good overall. He sucks on switches in PnR when he has to guard a guard but handles big guys extremely well. And, the "just keep backing up" technique the C's utilize with Kanter in the PnR has had decent results mitigating his biggest defensive weakness.
I can't get over how productive he keeps on being. 15/7 in 15 minutes? That's absolutely crazy.

If his defence holds up against a better team (like the Bucks in a few days) then him starting, at least in certain match-ups, should be considered.

I think part of this is that Enes knows his role and he works well as a PnR big, along with moving off the bal really well. He knows how to get himself open and where to go to get the ball.  As versatile as Theis is, he's not as crafty as a PnR big, low post player, or off the ball mover as Enes.

Both Jaylen and Hayward missing shots they normally convert with relative ease.

I almost feel like he worries that JB and JT will get mad at him if he shoots and misses. But he’s naturally an efficient player and it’s not his style to just volume shoot I guess

Brown lately missing the bunnies (finishing drives) he was putting in regularly earlier in the season.   He'll get it back, but something's off.

Nice Tatum!!
