The Celtics are also the youngest team in the league and maybe the least experienced. I would need to look that up.

Also the shortest team in the league?
Yeah, just a bit shorter than the Clippers & Jazz. 4 of the 5 tallest teams are, frankly, bad teams though, so not sure if there’s any correlation.

This is all via: https://en.hispanosnba.com/teams/comparison. Not sure if accurate.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I’d do it just for Luka, haha.
I'm not sure that is too far off if it could be done without taking on much bad salary.    Having Luka and the flexibility to build around him would be mighty nice.

Per the trade machine, LuKa, Lee and Hardaway for Tatum, Brown, Smart, Theis and Edwards works.

When you can't beat a Sixers team without Embiid and all the core 5 players of the Celts are healthy, it's unacceptable!

The sky is falling when a G-League player named Pelle outplays Enes Kanter.

Pelle?

Seriously?

And Al Horford abused Theis in the paint late in the 4th qtr.

So yeah, the sky is falling!

Remember that time the Jordan Bulls lost 10 games in a season, all to inferior teams?

Slackers. Somebody should have torn that team down. No heart.

That was a team with Michael Jordan.

This current Celtics team have no one close to being a Michael Jordan.

It's freakin' mid January.  The team is 25-11.  Current 3 seed in the East.

The point is that even the best of teams have slumps.  Hell, look at some of other top teams in the NBA this season.  You know what you'll find?  3 game losing steaks.

Let's wait until the spring before we start jumping off cliffs, shall we?

This is not the Celtics of KG, Pierce, and Ray.

If that Celts team had a slump or a losing streak, you know it's temporary.

This current Celtics team is flawed!

Al Horford is old and slow, but he abused Theis in the paint.

Celts rely solely on wing players to get wins.

That's a one-dimensional team.

Lakers only have two excellent players, but why are they so much better than the Celts right now?

That's because the Lakers have diversity on offense.

They can attack inside and outside.

The Celts are so predictable, opposing teams have figured them out.

Stop the Celtic wings and Celtics lose.

No inside-outside game for the Celts.

It's a flawed team.

Think we need a shooter more than a big. A shooting big would be the perfect thing, but a 6’10 shooting forward is okay.

Not sure what we could give for him though.

With Gallinari's contract, Celts would have to give up either Smart or Hayward.

Horford was doing a decent job defending Anthony Davis when Horford was with the Celts.

This time around it will be Theis guarding Anthony Davis.

Marcus Smart on Anthony Davis?

I'd be fine trading Hayward for him tbh - he has decent creation abilities and is a monster when it comes to scoring in general (his combination of spot up shooting and prowess in isolation+the PnR is elite for a guy who isn't a superstar).

To me they're both similar in terms of quality (top 50 players), but Gallo is a better fit (Hayward is a good ceiling raiser but I think Gallo would cause our offence to explode).

That’s fair - my main concern is durability with Gallo. At least Hayward has been durable at one time in his career. Gallo seems injured every other week

For sure lol, the last thing we need is for him to tear his arse after we trade for him (it happened to him once ). But hasn't he been durable since last season?
