I'll always love Perk but he's been a pretty terrible analyst.

He's had some pretty horrid takes.

In this instance I think Perk is right.  I have no respect for KD as a competitor and it was a weak move to join the GSW at that time.

Crazy. I thought those two were boys.

Durant is incredibly thin skinned, though. He may be the most talented player in the NBA, but his heart is only mediocre.

Can you imagine Larry Bird’s heart and mind in Durant’s body?

I loved the exchanges last night. I remember refreshing twitter last night, and I was shocked. Wasn't sure if it was all in jest or seriousness.

Durant’s insecurity just keeps reaching new heights. Boy needs a therapist, not a twitter account.

Can you imagine Larry Bird's heart and mind in LeBron's body? He'd set records that no one would ever come close to touching.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

You can have horrid takes but if you have a personality - as Perk does - and don't mind taking some heat over your comments (he doesn't mind) you can carve out a nice career for yourself as an analyst.  Perk gets it and he's building a nice brand for himself.

Yeah, I agree with Perk on this one. Westbrook gave his all to that organization until the very end...until he was traded. KD walked out the door to a 73 win team after losing to them in the WCF. I understand KD is probably more talented, but it's not like Westbrook is terrible. He put up jaw-dropping stats after KD left and even won an MVP.

I also can't believe Perk managed to successfully bait KD the way he did. That whole exchange is surreal!

Love the “you have a hard time sleeping at night” because that really had to get under Durant’s skin and now he probably will have a hard time sleeping for a few days.  A dagger by Perk!

For sure.  That's how today's "hot take" sports world thrives.

Why is Perkins even considered a basketball analyst. He seems like a guy who just has friends that played basketball at a high level. Sort of what a drummer is to musicians.
