We're going to get smoked by the Sixers tomorrow, even with no Embiid

Yeah, how the heck do they get three favorable matchups with us like that - opening night in Philly, SEGABABA after road Indy game, and now another SEGABABA after a solid San Antonio team. That's crap.

Brown the only one playing with energy.

Brad being out-coached by Pop, not during the game but in preparation of the players. They do not look engaged or energetic.

This is Brad's modus operandi. He is absolutely terrible at getting his team ready to play. At this point we have to admit this is a fundamental flaw. I can only imagine that before tip off he drones away in a monotone like a high school history teacher and when the players take the floor they've been put half to sleep. They don't start playing well into they're down by 10 every game.

I'm afraid this might be exactly what happens in the locker room. I can't quite imagine Stevens going off on a profanity-laced tirade when the team doesn't give effort. The intellectual, calm under pressure approach is great some of the time, but the coach has to show some fire and chew ass sometimes.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

We also have a second night game with Milwaukee coming up soon.

Hayward is soft. He's pretty much been a complete non-factor since breaking his hand and coming back.

Not worth my time.  They may pull this one out, but I will miss it. I feel betrayed.

Scal's comments about the way the Spurs attack the paint and kick the ball and the we do not was spot on. The Celtics are not a very good passing team at all.

Yeah. You'd hope that Brad would lay into the guys for that effort in the first half. But I'm sure that I'm not the only one who is skeptical that that will happen.

Just shocking how bad we’ve been and how comfortable the spurs are.

So did the Celtics re-acquire Kyrie or something over these last few games, because that's the only explanation I can think of for why they're playing so lethargic.

I'm going to assume Hayward's foot is bothering him. Looks like he has a limb in mud out there.

Spurs 60.8%
Celtics 37.8%

Rebounds
Spurs 27
Celtics 17

I guess it might be time to turn this thing around.
