Not sure why either. Theres nobody  on this CHA team that needs to be doubled.

They aren't doubling, they're helping off the screens and action. You end up with 2 on the ball either way of course, but its a different thing.

Exactly. It's a regular part of their defense for the weakside guy to cheat towards the paint then help out down low if the ball goes inside. Also helps with their defensive rebounding.

He's a 38% shooter from deep overall, 45% on catch and shoot threes.

So why would teams defend him as a non shooter from deep?

He's shooting 38% from long two, and 36% from three. that neither very good nor particularly bad.

The refs have let a lot of contact go all gme, but they're starting to call some much weaker fouls now

Is 48 minutes of consistency too much to ask?
