Listening to the crowd, you'd figure it was Tacko with 39 points

That's just his PER :)

Are the Cs better without Smart and Hayward... can we trade them for KAT.

Like it or not, people will have to get used to Tatum eventually being the #1 option.

The Celtics brass understand that this team becomes Championship caliber when he becomes a top 10 player, which is why his minutes are staggered so he plays with the bench as the focal point and has free reign to shoot when he wants even with the starters.

The kid is a star in the making and all the short-sighted Celtics pessimist can focus on is his inefficiency. The vast majority of great players have these years of growth until they become efficient.

Langford has skills and looked pretty good on defense .  Quick and smart player

I'm afraid the Wolves say no even if you attach the Memphis pick.

Hayward is going to opt out at the end of the Yr and KAT just signed max money last year so it will take a lot to pry KAT...

Missed the last few games, but box scores seem to indicate Grant is catching up to the NBA speed. Awesome.

Romeo also getting some run and (apparently) seeming solid is good. He wasn’t my ideal pick but those who called him a bust look a bit silly.

It's early, but, he has really good hands. Very soft around the rim. Very quick. He has been trying on defense and looks OK, but, he gets pulled out by Stevens pretty quick when he misses an assignment on defense.

He needs two starters injured to get minutes...so seeing him might be rare.

So far I like Langford. He plays within himself. Tacko…He makes the other team play cautious.

Yeah, his soft touch around the rim and great free throw shooting is what made him stick out to me in college

he totally disrupts the other team's offense. This is underrated.

  • What a Pub Should Be
Managed to make it back to Mass for the holidays (including a pregame burrito at Anna’s) and went to the game tonight with my dad. First C’s game of the year for me.

What a great atmosphere tonight. Vibrant crowd. Watching Tatum locked in reminded me a lot of vintage prime Pierce.  Thought Jaylen played really well tonight as did Kanter. Especially on the boards.  Like the confidence I saw in Langford. He did not look like a rookie out there tonight.  Thought the team held their own weathering that first half shooting storm by Charlotte. Was only a matter of time their FG% was gonna drop.  Celtics took advantage of it when it did.  Fun game.

So want to see what this team can do fully healthy.

Good Win, a game we should win, one we probably lose last year. Tatum looked good...
