Watch every game and then the highlights on youtube/sportscenter/twitter/etc.
Watch only the highlights on youtube/sportscenter/twitter/etc.
Watch more than half the games and then the highlights from the games I miss
Watch less then half the games and then the highlights from the games I miss
I don't get to watch every game or highlights for every game, but do for most.

I live in Northern Virginia and have league pass through Comcast to watch all the Celtics games.  I see every game in person when they come to DC to play the Wizards.

actually none of the options.

I watch almost all the games even if I have to DVR them.  only ones I miss are the ones exclusively on ESPN since my cable package doesn't include that channel.

I don't watch any sports news shows that show the highlight clips.

Yeah, me, too. I kept looking down the list for my option, but it wasn't there. I guess we are supposed to be option 1.

League pass streaming and it works well for me.   I read the local Boston papers when I can and follow the reporters on twitter.   I used to do the my team app but the Tom Haberstroh  seems to dominate the feed and it rarely about the Celtics. I could care less how James Harden is doing.   I also follow the Celtics on youtube.

Lastly, I rely on the good souls here who often post local stuff that I could not otherwise see.   Thanks!

I'm embarrassed to admit this but I watch every game than the replay in the morning. I'll then watch 4 different YT channels game highlights. Love watching all the interviews.

I don't like any other sports or teams so I can't get enough Celtics content. I hate that WEEI and Sportshub spend 90% of their time on Patriots.

I'm a full blown Celtics addict. I'd seriously make a six figure donation to whatever Wyc wanted just to be in the front office for one season with a BS position.  ;D

ok fine

Streaming. Also follow C's beat writers on Twitter for updates.

I have an FBI investigation style board where I pin everyone's hot takes and trade ideas and connect them together with yarn. At the middle of the board is an ambiguous face with a giant question mark. I think it's a Center or a PF but I'm not sure yet.

I lol'd.

Watch every game.
Try to catch as many of the post game pressers as I can.
Read ESPN on everything NBA.
Never watch YouTube highlights.
Does ESPN the television networks even have daily highlight shows?
Watch as many non-Celtics NBA basketball games as I can, probably 1-3 a week.
And I am a member of a silly little basketball blog, but that part doesn't really count😁

Actually surprised that "Watch every game and talk about the Celtics on CelticsStrong." wasn't an option.

Time difference is a b$$$ch ..... In addition not all games a available here (i guess league pass is an option but i am already over the sportsubscriptions budget)

So IF a game is on i usually watch the next morning. During playoffs i try to watch the games live but watching a game that starts at 02:00 when you wake up at 07:30 is not the best practice

I think the NBA fandom is changing. More and more fans follow the league through highlights and box scores, not the watching the whole game. They see Twitter highlights and watch youtube 10-minute highlights of the game, but they don't sit through the 2.5 hours.

This is happening at large, but I was curious about the sub-culture of the Celtic blog. As a result, I decided to make this anonymous poll. The whole "do you even watch the game" might or might not be a legitimate question. My point isn't to give ammo. My point is to understand how Celtic fans on this blog perceive their team through the lens of their chosen media.
I think your assessment is accurate. But to me, you can't understand what's going on with a team - or the game itself - by just watching highlights and short videos. You need to see how guys react to different situations, the mistakes they make, situations they handle well or don't handle well.  Plus it's a game of runs - highlights showing only the good or spectacular don't tell you much because every team has players who can have spectacular nights or make a nice play once in awhile.

I watch zero highlights.  I have to watch the full game.  I would argue that anyone who's a highlights only fan can't really grasp its nuances.

I pretty much watch every game. I don’t watch highlights though and I only watch clips of sports shows at best. That’s not really in any of the options but I ticked the “watch every game” option nonetheless.
