nice run by the celtics to get the score close. strong finish with defense and kemba.

tatum is a no show. hayward only 6 points. brown at 5 points. but only down by 4 with two quarters to play.

celtics need to play with more intensity and aggression on defense. indiana's defense is good, so CBS has to figure out how to beat it.

celtics win this game!!  ;D

I love how CBS was ripping our guys for physicality when he dug us a hole with Grant Williams playing the five and getting destroyed by Sabonis.   Look in the mirror, Brad!

I would like to see Poirier get some minutes against Indy bigs...

I don't want to see him much about bad or average bigs, I definitely don't want to see him against guys like Turner and Sabino

He has great size, but he has NOT caught up to the NBA game. The fact that Brad plays Grant over him (despite the size he gives up to... everyone) should tell you something
I'm bitter.

Poirier has looked like trash other during anything other than garbage time. I don't get the obsession with him...

I realize that it’s normal for fan to think the referees are out to get his team or calling the game all little bit against his team but tonight‘s game come on man this is ridiculous.  I think it’s been happening a lot of this season. I constantly see games that look like the refs are just against us or maybe they're betting on the other team or something I don’t now.  We know it’s not suspicion but complete fact that one NBA referee took money to throw games so hey I was supposed to think he’s the only one besides he said it wasn’t just him acting alone he said there are other refs doing it and that the NBA was involved which the NBA denied.  Is there some anti Celtics conspiracy or am I just a paranoid fan?

He must of gotten mad at Kanter for out muscling Sabonis and then getting all those offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points.

there is no obsession that i can see here. simply some posters saying that given GW's play against indiana's bigs, poirier deserves a look.

given his play in maine recently, why not?

kanter has two points. i did not get to see him in action, but what you say doesnt seem to match his scoring.

I don't love Poirier, but Grant at the 5 is tough to watch. I know he plays the game the right way, but Grant has been pretty hopeless thus far. At least Poirier can bang with Sabonis.

I think at one level it's our style of play - we play aggressive, hardnosed defense and that leads to more chances for whistles. Also - and this one of things that really annoys me about the league - is that there is clearly a different standard for different players. Rookies / no name vets are at the very bottom of the totem pole, and we always seem to have a lot of them on our team. Players like Theis have a totally different standard than say Anthony Davis. If Davis had blocked that shot Theis got the tech for complaining about the refs never would have blown the whistle.

i dont usually moan about refs, but my biggest complaint is exactly as you state - a double standard. for me it erodes the game and makes it less interesting to watch. tp

3 fouls on Sabonis now. If we can draw another one on him, he'll have to be a lot more careful
