It seemed like Brad said to the Nuggets coach: "He got knocked out...was moving his legs a little bit"

any better lip readers out there can correct me, of course

We are starting to see a trend with this team. We generally play well down the stretch, but just don't have the killer instinct. The good news - we are still young and are missing our best/max players, but moral victories lose their appeal quickly.

I saw a team that does not die no matter what. Down our top 2 players on last game of road trip and we showed no quit.

Is this team starting to look like the 2018-2019 squad with losing 3 of their last 4 games?

Not really. Other than the Sac game, they've lost games they shouldn't have been favored in considering the circumstances and still lost by small margins each time.

last year's team?  hell no.  last year's team didn't have this fight.  2 years ago they had it.  year before that too.

Great. Another great effort ruined by dumbass plays.

Another great effort ruined by only showing up in the 2nd half. This team has to get off to better starts.
It's puzzling. Our players are soooo bad in the first half. I don't get it.

Coaching?

Tying the game late against the clips is missing a killer instinct?

Making this nuggets game close after the Kemba injury is missing a killer instinct?

I don't see it at all man.

This is a tough road trip and they've acquitted themselves really well.

So should I use a different word? Mental lapses defensively, passing, going iso when it isn't necessary. The defense was terrific in this one down the stretch and it led to some easy hoops, but they just aren't able to finish off these 50/50 games when they get themselves in a position to possibly win. I get it, they are young, but they are going to need to learn to win more of these games.

Late, close games and we leave guys open in the perimeter. Unbelievable.

Great fight by the team though. Looked like they'd get blown out.

How do we allow two long jumpers to be made in the last minute after cutting it to 2 ? Maddening.

In fairness long jumpers are what you want them to take.

Agreed, but weren't they open jumpers, as in we didn't get over and get a hand up ? (sounded that way from other comments)
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Yep all four losses on the road, 3 top tier playoff teams and 3/4 on a tough west coast trip. Won't have a stretch like this wets coast trip for a while.

The three in the corner was pretty wide open, the other shots I thought were decently contested.

Agree 1000000%. Many TPs

If you guys are content with getting the game close and then losing each time, it's cool. You don't need to be a jerk about it nick - I explained myself in previous post and stand by it. This team plays with great resilience, but I am getting sick of losing the close ones.

I mean with Hayward and Kemba out I'd say they're more like 17-18 squad only no Horford either.

Our two best players are out and we still fought back. Good game.
