I apologise ahead of time .I just don't get it .He seems to play too ridged and doesn't have real change of pace or burst .In several recent games some really poor passes and didn't handle backcourt  pressure well .Also got blocked at rim on several breakaways.
He is not very flexible.
Can we get Chris Dunn from Chicago I prefer more length and fluidity.
Just can't warm up to Wanamaker as 2nd team point guard

dude he is getting paid a min contract and producing like a guy making 5 million per season

I don't get the complaint

Exactly.

Brad's best game for us yet. I think he feels more like he's a part of the team and feels that he will get regular minutes, and as a result is playing with more confidence and composure. Long way to go but not bad for a vet min guy.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I like him a lot. Not a flashy player by any means, but he does all the little things in order to help his team win games.

- super efficient: 50-40-90 so far this season (51.7% from the floor, 40% from three, 93.1% from the line)
- Never forces his own shot unless there's no time left on the shot clock.
- Willing passer. Always tries to find an open teammate.
- Plays smart D as well (averaging almost 1 steal per game in just 16.1 minutes of playing time)

I guess his Euroleague experience helped him a lot in terms of reading the game and making the right play at the right time.

Not to mention, we are paying him the minimum. I really don't know what you guys expect from a vet-min player.

He's thrown the 3rd most passes to Carsen of any Celtic. Carsen also has played the third most minutes with him.

Passes to      Minutes Together   Passes Per Minute Together
Tatum       72                   118                              .61
Marcus     51                     93                               .54
Carsen     39                     89                               .43

That is because they tend to play with him as a platoon.    Please look for it, and in a few weeks tell me what you think.

I saw 8 people randomly online calling Wanamaker the plumber.

Is that his new nickname? lol

also, his 2018 threads for nostalgia:

Wanamaker's ability to drive to the basket is what I like.

He gets to the FT line and shoots at a high %.

Well it looks like we might see Wanamaker with the keys for about 1-2 weeks with the recent injury to Kemba.  Hopefully he can deliver.

I like him. I like his size on defense and I like his willingness to go hard to the rim on offense. As others have said, he plays within himself and knows his role. A good guy to have around.

Fun fact which has probably been mentioned before here:

Wanamaker was a starter on the 2011 Pitt team that lost to Butler 70-71 in the Round of 32. Pitt was a #1 seed, Butler was a #8.

Box Score (3/19/11): https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/boxscores/2011-03-19-butler.html

Also, 2011 Pitt vs. UConn Big East Tournament QF (3/10/11): https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/boxscores/2011-03-10-pittsburgh.html

Wanamaker was the original defender on Kemba vs. UConn in this play where Kemba hit a buzzer-beater to win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGSI0IgM0gM

Horrible last night, pressing everything,
I like his grit but man, he is just not very skilled on either end.  Almost cost us the Sac game, IMO.

I'm not a Wannamaker fan either.

Yesterday, he was standing around while a rebound feel right into Corey Joseph's hands.

Then towards the end of the game, Brad is screaming at him to set a pick for Tatum, while he was just standing around like a statue.

I get he shows flashes of efficiency, but overall, I'm not a fan.

Yeah the last play miscue was bad. He thought the player on the other side was supposed to set the middle pick. C's ending up having to run an out of bounds play for that Tatum iso which is naturally just a tougher shot to make.
