Kemba's energy on D is contagious. Such a blessing after the last two years of our point guard situation.
Just 2 years?
IT at least tried and showed energy on the defensive end; he was just too small to do anything. Outside of the first two months of last season, Kyrie was a sieve who didn't hustle or put energy into the defensive side of the ball.
While I agree (I said it atthe time of the trade) its been a while since the Celtics have good defense from the starting PG spot, outside of the games where Smart started. While Kyrie was decent on D at the start of last season, he has been generally weak on that area, and it goes beyond the IT years. Rondo's last few years was characterized by poor D due to lack of effort.
