He needs some G League time

No he does not.

Some players need this. I remember Avery Bradley say that the assignment to D-league helped him when he was a rookie who look lost. He said playing in there helped rrmind him that he can play.

There is nothing wrong with assigning a rookie to the G League temporarily to help build his confidence.  Edwards is clearly pressing, aiming right now instead of shooting the ball naturally.

You can tell from his body language, while he is either going to or sitting on the bench, that he is putting too much pressure on himself. Now with the new haircut he is probably looking to change his mojo, which in a way is a sign he is in his own head. Once the game slows down for him and he isn't rushing his shot, combined with being in his own head he will be fine. They should keep playing him, because it seems like this is the kind of team that will rally around and support each other. This is the kind of team that will let you find your mojo. (Just glad he didn't show up on last years team...)

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He's a gunner but he's also a rookie.
He's going to have some insane night's of scoring and some nights of Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..
When you're shooting long and getting nothing but backboard like he has been lately it's an adrenaline/nerves thing.
He's excited and ovethinking. Eventually he'll relax and be himself.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Thanks Chambers TP. I like to panic sometimes but not over Carsen, he's gonna be just fine.

The shots he's taking are essentially his type of shot. He still finds those open pockets or creates space between him and the defender.

He'll be fine after he hits a few.

Was so hyped by his play, before and since being drafted..... until the season started!  Looks like someone took over his body that never shot a basketball before!
What is going on?  He's always seemed like he has ice water in his veins.  Injured? Deferring too much?

He is a rookie

His mind is twisted left and right trying to figure out where to be at this time

When he has the open shot, he is not focused

Once he (and Grant Williams)  get adjusted, expect more made 3s

book it

He needs some G League time

Wouldn't be a bad idea. And that doesn't mean anyone is saying he isn't good enough to be successful in the NBA. I'm almost certain he'll have some nights where he's knocking down shots like crazy. Spending time in the G league is not uncommon for a rookie, nor should it be, unless you're like the number 1 pick

I like this idea so he can get some shots up in a game and regain his confidence.

edwards is far more athletic, is quicker, he is better on defense. and edwards can pass. he is better than fredette. please look at videos of each and you can see the difference.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah its horrible. Edwards can defend a lot better than Fredette and has morr ways to score. The comparison is lazy and awful.
