Breath of fresh air.  At one point states that his new teammates can make shots, which takes the load off of him so that he can put in more effort on defense

Wow

Kemba: "Boston kind of came on late in free agency"  ::)

Kinda shows how rampant this whole tampering thing is, when a deal is in place at least 2 days before free agency starts, and that's considered late in the game.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Yeah. Horford for one, already had a deal before the Celtics were in talks with Kemba.

He's way better than Kyrie. Talent means jack Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. when off court issues bleed into your on court value.

From my point of view, the important part was when he said nobody else had a chance once the Celtics called. Working out for KW and the Celtics.

Kemba is more like IT and alot less of the divaness aura that surrounds Kyrie 24/7

Sorry, can't stand listening to Stephen A Smith. He can be cruel and ruthless in his assessment of players and coaches. He puts too much emotional emphasis on his own self-importance and his own lion-roaring opinions.

Stephen, you're an entertaining sports analysts. Just come back to Earth from time to time. Nobody's perfect!!!

Just hoping for KW to focus a little more on the assists.  3.5 from your starting PG is light to me.  I'd like to see him at 6-8, MS at his 5, and GH add a couple to 5.  The whole team only averages 22 ATM and that is light by 3-5 total assists from my liking.  With the depth of talent we have, and the abilities of each player, I would think we should be top 5 in assists by being unselfish and moving the ball.  I think if we moved the ball more and faster, as well as more transition buckets, we would be a tougher team to stop.  Step it up boys.

This has more to do with shooting inconsistency than anything else.  We've been trying to execute a motion offense and guys aren't hitting their open looks, especially in the first half.  Despite the struggles, it's great to see the team embrace each other and maintain their composure through slumps.

Currently the Celtics are bottom five in catch and shoot percentage (overall and from beyond the arc).  As for Kemba, he is sitting at 10.1 potential assists per game.  The law of averages will bump his APG up to 5 or 6.

yeah. People should know by now that you can't get assists if your teammates miss shots. To me assists doesnt matter as much as making the right play. It is not required to average 15 assists per game like some people here are saying.
