Bucks 62.5% from the FT line.

Celts 81%.

FTs very important in the playoffs.

Four games in and the stink of last season is going away.

I wish there had been a way to keep Al and Baynes.
There was a way to keep Al.  Match Philly's offer or at least come reasonably close to it.

Nah it has been reported that Al already gave the word to Philly by the time the Celtics were ready to negotiate.

It might be for the better though, I love Al but after this year that contract will start looking terrible.

Baynes I hope we can acquire sometime if he gets waived.

Celts can't reacquire Baynes this season.
Even if he's waived, Celts need to wait 1 year.

Another thing that is overlooked tonight - Walker shot 15 (!) free throws tonight. That's one of his major advantages over Kyrie, who simply didn't draw fouls like that.

This is a very good point. One guy likes to shy away from contact and another is looking to create some.

Ifhe gets traded then waived I believe they can reacquire him.

That's a stretch.

But I guess it's possible if teams cooperate.

My assessment:
1. The role players seem to be playing their role. No one is trying to do too much outside of their role on the team.
2. I really think we can beat this Bucks team in the playoffs. I think we are faster than them and can make them one-dimensional. I also think their defensive scheme can be abused in the 4th quarter because of Walker's work in the pick and roll and shooting.
3. Tatum is committed to taking it to the basket and shooting threes. He will figure out the ability to draw fouls. The refs will also adjust to his play style. He had a bad game tonight, but was still pretty good.
4. Gordon Hayward had a quiet 21-10-7.
5. Smart and Ojeleye are very confident against Giannis on defense.

I think this development is overlooked due to Tatum not shooting that great of a percentage yet, but I'm absolutely loving his offensive game right now. Completely different than last year in a good way, and you can tell he is actively looking to get to the rim now, which is the key to him getting to that next level.

The main change is that he's dropped his mid range shots (10ft-3pnt) from 30.7% to 19.6 percent while splitting that difference between taking more 0--3ft shots (up 26% to 31%) and thress (up 30% to 36%).

Interetsingly the % from 0-3 isnt any different than his rookie year, but the 3pnt share is up from 29%.

Only reason we lost to the Bucks last season was because Curry was injured in the playoffs.

what a game! the resilience was amazing to watch! I think last year's team with Kyrie would've crumbled being 19 down

And that was one of our many issues last year. The team was one of the last in the league at getting to the free throw line.
